Usually that means your rotors are warped when you step on your brakes and it shattered like that

The rears are almost definitely drums rather than rotors and calipers

I'm like one of the other guys. Sounds like warped rotors. The back is probably drums so if it's the rears it's warped drums.

Check the wire harness between the door and the body, probably a broken power or ground wire.

What happened to your other dog? A vibration when on the brakes=rotors are warped, and not charging on those 1st gens can also be the pcm/voltage regulator sometimes too if the alternator doesn’t end up fixin it
