You should eventually get the valve cover powder coated to closely match that Ill-fated green as a “nod” to that poor paint choice!
bruh i was laughing my ass off from the starter jumper not working, then tool box falling over, then the turbo seized shit was just not going your way.😂
A comedy of errors.
Nothing new..
The fuel pump is hooked to the return. The big line at the front of the pump by the throttle lever is the feed line to the pump. Test the fuel shut off solenoid and make sure it’s working and crack the injection lines and bleed the air out and to verify fuel to injectors. In the mean time of the turbo situation you can take the turbo off and take the oil feed line out and plug the hole it went in so you can start it.
You should eventually get the valve cover powder coated to closely match that Ill-fated green as a “nod” to that hideous attempted paint job!
Have a board or something ready to put over the turbo incase it runs away
Make sure the electric solenoid on the pump has power going to it. Ve pumps have alot of stuff that can cause it not to start
I finally noticed this comment as all I could think through the whole vid is I wonder when he’s going to remember the fuel shutdown solenoid
The clear plastic tube with the electric fuel pump that’s the fuel return to the fuel tank. The fuel line in front of the injection pump where the timing cover is that’s the fuel feed going to the injection pump

Beware of the corner plugs in the wiring harness that runs along the drivers inner fender I have had personal experience with this on my 85

You ought to wetsand all the neon paint off then buff the whole truck, or just repaint it
I wish I lived close to you I have an 89 d250 that I can’t get running it will turn over but not getting any fuel the alternator was over charging and burnt a wire or something
Please stop using ether on diesels.
Also a locked up turbo won't stop you from starting a diesel. Just take the boot off of it so no debris enters the intake. Get a strong battery, bleed the injectors, and if you need to give it a hand blow a heat gun into the inlet pipe to heat up the incoming air.
Little bit of ether isn't gonna hurt it. I've see people run cans through 5.9s and mot hurt anything. I have seen them dry the valves out but that's it. It's not gonna hurt the piston or bend a rod.
It's a fast burning fuel in an engine designed for slow burning fuels. Ether is extremely bad for diesels.
