Dagul is the perfect representation of the tension currently coursing through the Spurs fan base! "We can do this, though we probably won't!" I get it, but why let the negativity creep in? Hope comes from hopefulness, not the other way around. Regardless of what happens, I'm going into every game predicting the win, understanding that the disappointment of a loss can't crush me. COYS!!!
I swear some spurs fans are such masochists, cheer up lads, we are in year 1 of a rebuild. Ange has majority of his squad inherited by 3 different defensive managers.

What I imagine is happening with corners, in kind with what is happening with our full press/high 2-man defensive line, is that Ange is forcing the players to adapt to the system rather than adapting the system to the players. The weakest point in our zonal defense IS Vicario. That hole in the middle of the defense directly in front of the goal belongs to the keeper. Honestly, If Forester was there, we wouldn't have the same problem. Vic is a bit too small for the system, so what he needs to do is figure out how to be more tenacious, clever and stronger on corners. We have seen flashes of it from him, but he still has a ways to go. I believe that Ange is forcing him into this situation so that he has no choice but to get better. What I have seen is that Ange is willing to give up 1-2 goals, then lets the other defenders get involved. Like a lot of what we are witnessing at Spurs, it's not necessarily pleasant to watch, but it is part of the porcess.
The set piece defending will let Spurs down. Every manager knows their weakness.
I am hoping we will call this the book-end match! all our problems started from the previous Chelsea match.
The biggest liability Spurs has is their ultra negative over entitled supporters. A rebuild is a rebuild. It takes long term strategy, hard work and time. The best thing that could happen is the realistic and balanced supporters stay the journey and reap the rewards, while the flat earth supporters fade away and “support” someone else
I suppose evey club has their ultra negative entitled supporters. One aspect of this channel that I really appreciate is that it offers a relatively positive, data driven approach to Spurs. The internet mob tends towards hyperbolic emotional reactionism, but I honestly believe that most spurs supporters are feirly level headed, and simply too polite and/or disinterested to join the conversation. COYS!

Whats wrong with our fans always blaming the manager,ange has done well in his 1st season,everyone predicted a mid table or lower finish. 5th not a bad finish. We need stability not upheavel. Give ange time to build the team that can play his system. A draw good result consolidate 5th.

Yeah I am slowly losing my trust in Ange. No plan B, always looks like a statue on the sidelines, set pieces are a joke and he doesn't seem to improve on that, players getting weird long term injuries during training.
@@alexandruv yup 💯. I had this same exact comment before our game against Arsenal last weekend and got abused and rebuked by others who told me to keep dreaming and that we have to "believe" in Ange. I don't buy it
