- Progress update on the two Honda CRXs that I'm working to restore. Rust being cut out and replaced with new steel as well as an update on the rear quarter panels that I got from Wolf Steel in Quebec Canada.

good to know that you have made all the templates,hope Wolf steel will do it right this time,(huge market for good ones) is been know around here that is crx panel was not right.... and the price is way of from something wrong. I live about half a hour from Wolf steel, and also got 1 of my crx that need some repair. I will follow your update.

Great content, I was about to buy those quarters, but I decided to use the civic ones because d junk yard ones I cut had wheel well liners that I joined. Mine were rust on my crx 88. I found the same issue you mentioned so I decided to fabricate my panels at these specific points. Since I'm doing a kswap, s-1 built and moved my gas filler door to fabricate for an interior 15gallon tank.
Sounds like you are doing the same thing I dream about doing with the black crx. Interesting idea about filling in the fuel door. I hadn't thought of doing that, but makes sense for awd.
It is way more work than I anticipated but rewarding! I'm bringing back a gem and developing skills I didn't know I possessed. I was elated that you did profile cutouts like I did but just to recreate the trouble points you mentioned. I'll have to post soon, looking forward to see your new quarters.

Is there a update. I'm restoring a 91 and need quarter panels. And want to know if they fixed there design before ordering

Im wondering if they ever perfected those panels I bought a 90 yellow si and i was bout to order these and came across this video. So ima hold of till an update thank u sir
