We had one guy drop out of our group, he was like 50yrs old and would rage when you questioned anything he was doing.
And this is why they call him Zaide God people.

For future reference: high keep enc spells are the stupid non charm pets. Useless if you’re charming.
I was in Zurdula on agnarr, from launch to end of PoT , nothing but respect for this man and his core group!
First group to hit 50 in one the latest TLP's was Cleric, Cleric, Enchanter, Enchanter, Enchanter, Druid. No need for Feign Death pulling when you can Lull basically everything. Druid was for snare, SoW, Ports, and another charm if animals were around. It was an insane group. With 3 Enchanters, you can charm lower level mobs for more reliability and still do more DPS than any group around. It was nuts.
Which TLP? I know it wasn’t Mangler, Selo, Rizlona or Aradune which are the TLPs we’ve seen since 2019. I don’t recall Coirnav though.
@@FacelessZaide I don't recall. Actually, I don't know for sure if they were the first to hit 50, they just claimed they were. Just from the group comp, I assumed they were.

Can you level in EQ by just grinding and camping or do you have to do quests?
You can do it just by grinding and camping. You never have to quest.

Any idea if they gonna have new TLPs this year? I really wanna get in at the beginning of one.. They should make one like P99 that just stops at Velious imo

I agree game is the best until velious but once the sleeper is awakened the few guilds who got the warden loot will always stay on top

They have one that stopped at PoP it died pretty fast

I would never recommend making the war pull, as they have no deagro mechanic if pulls go very wrong it would probably be the chanter assisting with the pull for lulls and really until mage pets get bs rouges are 10x better dps and consistent put in a shammy to support and that group is unstoppable and will gladly take your trains to slaughter
Boring! Warrior pulling best pulling! If you're an enchanter and don't encourage that insanity you should reevaluate your main choice.

No Shaman ? Just curious? I usually play Cleric,Mage or Necro. When EQ came out in 1999 we always had a Shaman .
Not these days. It’s a great and powerful class but when it comes to raw leveling speed you have a very narrow band of classes to work with.
Shammy is best when group dps is more melee for all the buff support while chanters and bards are usually better for caster groups, there’s tons of comps that work very well together but really it’s generally agreed that cleric/chanter is god combo to group
Who cares who gets there first? First ro rise, first to burn out too. All gone by the 3rd expansion
Thats it. Everyone will get out of EQ what they enjoy. For some this is raw grinding and content. For me, its the social aspect. I'm more casual.

@@Giraffetaint Wrong sir. Maybe you care. But that doesn't mean we do. I've been in all types of guilds. Top tier raiders all the way down to 15 people just hanging out. Never, not once, have I ever sold or bought anything for Krono.

How do you think people have hundreds of krono? Do you think they buy it all? Being the first group to 50 on a TLP means you’re going to be rich and have fat stacks of krono to use on other servers.
You do put your health on the line tho.

Your chances of a heart attack staying awake past 48hrs climbs exponentially.
You also have to be rich, or have no family or life.
