    I bought a p level for a couple alts before. Started at around level 100 and got them to 120 pretty much max AA for like 4 krono each lol. Can't beat that, my time is worth way more than that. That would have taken me months and months. They use software to pull and kill, they definitely are not doing that manually lol. I have used that software and it's amazing! Wish it was legal to use. My SK pulling mobs to my group, shaman healing, rogue snapping behind the mob, necro dotting etc.. All while I sat and watched. VERY VERY cool!

    There's a bunch of ways to PL, but my favorite is to get the person I'm PLing to buy the AoE fire potions from the kobold vendor at the sol b entrance, then use my bard to gather up as many mobs as I can in a zone 4 or 5 levels above the person I'm PLing, use slow other AoE songs to build agro, have the person hit the pack with 2 or 3 fire pots, then turn on my damage shield and /sit over and over until they were all dead and the other person gets all the exp.
    Then at 55+ I have a 90 monk that is raid geared in argath raid stuff (easiliy boxable or duo with max level friend), put the person in the group with the monk, and run around PoFire. A full clear takes about 30 minutes, and by the time you finish, the zone-in is repopping. Always checked to make sure no one is camping anything or exping.
    55-70 in a couple of PoFire clears especially if you catch any of the raid bosses up.
    70-80 I can't recall where I did it, but then 80+ was House of Thule and the Grounds, where I could solo with the 90 monk with no merc and just have them leech exp. After 90 I used my bard to just take them to whatever the hot zone is and mass pull and murderfy whole areas of whatever the hot zone was.

    I would have no problem anyone power leveling a rogue or something that requires at least another person for that class to function. What else are they supposed to do past a certain point in tlp progression when noob zones dry up?

    I don’t like the mobs they take lol but yeah I gotta fresh 50 war too but I’m not willing to pay more than 2 Krono to get him to 60 :)
    Good vid

    They need to make it easier to ignore people in the UI and have that ignore list span all characters on your account.

    I'm on live. I don't have a problem with PL crews unless they're in an important place all the time, 24/7. A place where there's named mobs for hunter or quest mobs.
    Recently I made a new heroic enchanter and of course there were PL crews in places I needed quest mobs or named. So I just went in there and took what I needed.
    As for me, I would never use a PL service. I five box, so I don't need one, xp is fast enough with my group. I generate enough DPS.

    I've made use of a lot of powerleveling and I think I would appreciate the game more if I couldn't. I assumed the whole point of FTE was to stop powerleveling but I was wrong.

      Tons of people were. I was surprised how many people fixated on that and yet dont seem to realize how great oakwynd will be down the road for " casual" players thanks to grind reduction

    Many years ago, I joined the guild that my brother was in, Raptors on the Bristlebane \Tribunal. They did a lot of cool stuff. They raided and all of the normal EQ stuff. But 2 days a week, they helped us level and 1 day of keys/flagging for raids, zones and the like... They would take us to Velks and other zones and do what they called Raptor pulls. They would have pullers stationed at different locations and pull 15 to 20 mobs at a time and sort of power level us. We always had 15 to 20 mobs in camp and it was non stop. Some of my fondest moments were when that guild was still altogether. They didn't just say here go get this or you need to be this level if you want to raid. They helped us get to the point, where we can raid with the guild. It was more of a community than most other guilds I have been in. Most people have moved on from that guild but I still keep the name going, just in case they log in and want to say hi.

      Guilds used to be more community , I remember the players names from a guild I raided luclin and pop with back in 01/02 great times. Having said that I play tlps and a lot of the players I am with i first met in game 4-5 years ago!

    I hate the power leveling services, as it disrupts the game. If say a friend is helping someone level, by giving them buffs to PL that way, the i am generally ok with it, as usually not disruptive to the game as a whole.

    Regarding the comment at about a minute in... I don't understand the objection. Is there something wrong with roleplaying a dairy farmer? I'm sure there are a few NPC farmers standing around a few ramshackle buildings doing nothing in miles and miles of West Karana wasteland who approve heartily.

    This is why I really dislike playing on TLP servers. It's become a "race" to get to max level. That alone feeds the need for PL'ing services, and they want Krono. The only currency the game wasn't designed for.

      @@TBCNexus that is nice but 30 mobs is still a lot. Either way I am still here playing and I will be on the first day of this new TLP. Keep making great videos!! I thought of something last minute. I don't raid. Do you ever need a 30 mob aoe on those ?

    I could trivially afford to buy hundreds of Krono if I so desired, that said, I have not and likely won't pay for even one. If I am paying to play a game why am I playing it at all? I pay for things I don't want to do myself. Aside from that, power leveling is a zone disruption and should be treated as such, but sadly it's not. I enjoy the leveling journey but the powergaming meta pushes me away from TLPs.

    • @micker9830
      @micker9830 Před 9 měsíci

      Because Daddy Warbucks, most people don't want to have to level up alts for the hundredth time. I like playing with max level toons and I don't often have time to grind exp for days/weeks/months. I level up my mains and that is enough. I get what you are saying, that the game is leveling, but there are other aspects and it's nice to have some buff bots that are max level also, without having to grind them

  • @EQ_EnchantX
    @EQ_EnchantX Před 10 měsíci +1

    Paying someone else to play the game for you...Never understood why people pay to level up. It is part of the game, why even play the game if you just want to skip the content.

    • @savinakis

      @EQ_EnchantX Před 10 měsíci

      @@savinakis Why not buy max level than? And buy the best loots? And max AA?...then you can quit because you have nothing to achieve.
      Its part of the game, and my point is why play if you are going to pay to skip it, you are playing to have fun, not pay to have someone else play it for you.

    • @savinakis
      @savinakis Před 10 měsíci +2

      @@EQ_EnchantX that specific part of the game sucks, so why not skip it? And the other parts you mentioned maybe don't suck so you wouldn't want to skip them.

    • @EQ_EnchantX
      @EQ_EnchantX Před 10 měsíci

      @@savinakis Sure I understand that, but you are only hurting yourself. Now if he joins a group, not only is his gear bad, his skills like defense, dodge, riposte, parry are all going to be 10+ levels behind. Like I said, sure it might not be high end raiding, but its still part of the game, and you are playing the game to have fun. It's not like its P99 where 1 level takes weeks, leveling is so fast now days you really don't need to buy power levels.

    Yup, go get plvled to 60 and become the laughing stock because you dont have the gear needed for the lvl OR the skill ups needed on the toon OR the knowledge to play it...... Plvling is the way for experienced players to get a toon up to raidstatus etc but they do it themself. a BOUGHT plvl is just a way for noobs to brag about the lvl but unable to prove themself in a grp or a guild because the toon's lvl is maxed but the players knowledge is seriously lacking.....
