Literally just finished it and I have to say it was quite good. There were a number of points in the show where I was pleasantly surprised that they "went there". The dark humor and episodic format make it much better than its film counterpart imo. Despite Anna being a hallucinating alcoholic and going on an insane journey, she does a great job of feeling relatable and somehow the only sane character in the show

@@jackbarry1587 I mean yes specifically that movie for it's name but this trailer reminds me of every other movie about a neighbor spying on another neighbor who then commits murder. They always end the same way of that neighbor actually being a murderer so either this will follow suit or really dive into the dark comedy and either Kristen Bell's character dies from looking too much into things (they say she OD on the drugs/alcohol) or the neighbor is a killer and get's arrested, Kristen saves the day. It looks like a fun movie but the story has been played so many times, that hopefully this one has enough originality in it that the ending is quite a shock and out there from anyone's guess. I highly doubt it will go that way though.

Not a lot is known about this. It's actually going to be a miniseries not a movie. To me it looks like a spoof similar to "Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th" or "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" but less silly

I am binge watching this show and I think the people who complained about this being bad didn't realize what a satirical masterpiece this is. 💀 It took me 2 episodes to realize this was entirely satire, although the title was questionable from the start. I am like is this serious? Of course it isn't. It's effortlessly amusing. I love Kristin Bell. They couldn't have cast someone better for this.
It was effortlessly lame. One of the worst shows ever. Not even funny.

I knew from the beginning because she says one of the reasons her husband left her because she sometimes talks in a British accent even though she’s not British because i do that on a daily basis and i just found it funny they threw that in there 😂
Spoilers. So while I really enjoyed it I have to say seriously what is wrong with the ex husband. He left his daughter alone in a room with a serial killer who literally eats people, hired an ex killer as a handyman and didn't tell his wife and didnt realise the guy was still there years later, and on the last episode says he thinks he's been giving his wife the wrong medication. Take this guy's license to practice away I mean WTF!!

I've seen some people say this is parody, but it also seems like the movie is its own thing as well! The trailer gives off such personality, and has the vibes of a twisted thriller. Definitely giving this one a watch.

Agreed! But it really IS a parody. Just not childish comedy (that I also love) like the Scary Movie parodies. I see a lot of Hereditary and The Woman in the Window in this one, especially. I love that they’re making it more serious cuz it makes it funny in a different way.

My husband and I just binge watched this once our daughter fell asleep, he said it sounds stupid but I turned it on anyway lol funny thing is he sat with me and watched most of it, and we kept trying to figure out who was the killer or if she was just delusional, we thought of just about every possibility and still didn’t see the twist in the end coming!

The reception of the series is the perfect example of how people are not supporters of new ideas.
This is a parody of thrillers. It is not to be taken serious. For me, it was very entertaining. It was well executed and the performances were great.
Hope people realize how great of a gem this is and the stop criticizing it as it was supposed to be a real thriller.

The part about the 9 year old committing all the crimes, was a stretch. It would’ve been difficult for a little girl to mutilate a body and hide it in the woods without a trace of blood anywhere. But I think the very end is a cliffhanger perhaps to another season. Maybe somebody killed the passenger and moved the body in time before she was able to show the flight attendant. She finds the woman’s makeup left behind, proving that the lady really existed. Or maybe Anna fell back into a relapse and imagined it all. Just my thoughts.

It doesn’t make any sense that the murderer is a kid. The story failed to answer how a kid could dismember an adult in a short period of time and disposed the body parts outdoor, not to mention cleaning the murder scene. It totally doesn’t make any sense.
