she was afraid of the rain coz it was raining the day her daughter died... its PTSD. she not afraid of showers or other water because, well her daughter didnt die in that situation.
I’m surprised so many people completely missed that this show is satire. Yes, it’s more subtle than a lot of parody. But starting right off with the name they’re telling us this is comedy. The full bottle wine pours, obsession with casserole etc etc all show us this is satirical. I enjoyed it 🤷🏻♂️

Yeah the name’s a dead give away, especially if you’ve heard the original source material, The Woman in the Window. And I honestly thought this was way better than the original
When I saw the title it looked great, thought it would be funnier it was ok. But immediately watched the original first so I could get the references. The drawer of medicine bottles and then the giant glass bowl of wine corks on the counter were hilarious

I thought for sure it was Bule. He looked so much like Massacre Mike, I thought he was the son. And it would play into the family with how Elizabeth passed. Plus it was weird how he was always hanging around doing nothing with the mailbox, he would know the most about when people would be home, etc.
I didn’t like the twist they added with it being Emma, although it makes sense since Anna lost her daughter.
Overall the series was amazing and I hope they continue it with that cliffhanger of an ending.
(Side note: I hope the ending with their family was actually true and not a hallucination, she finally got part of her family back)
