Hope you are having a wonderful day today ! Here is my apartment tour, hope you like it and yeaaaahh... Still have a few things I want to change around the house but, I've learned you are really never done when it comes to decorating. So, here's what I got for now and let me know if you want to see a Christmas version of this because I'm about to start Christmas decorating YAAAAY ! First off, love your style with that vintage feel. House looks bomb. Now those lamps are actually at a perfect height, they align with the bottom of the pictures. If they were any taller the wall would start to look cluttered and stacking the books underneath was a genius idea. I agree swapping the end tables for round ones and maybe a oval coffee table would soften up the space. Love that dresser and as for the white rug, invest in a cheap carpet cleaner or I believe its a woolite carpet cleaner in a spray bottle works really good also. My daughter got some dark wood paint stuff on my aunts rug and thankfully that shit took it out like a champ.
Doing good girl and props for all the bargain deals. I dont look at anything unless its clearance then I'll check sales and when all else fails that's when I go full price. I hope some of these suggestions help you but you really don't need them your doing great on your own. P.S. love those pants! Love you!
I think a round coffee table would look nice
TALL round end tables. Then you may not need taller lamps or as many books.

To give my side table lamps more height I bought some clear acrylic boxes and set them on top it looks awesome and then when I get festive for the holidays I tuck fairy lights, garland and or ornaments inside too. I think it would look cool in your case as well because it has that mod feel which your apartment gives me vibes.
Also, side note: a little trick for keeping dirty dog paws out the house is using doggie socks. They’re easier for the dog to walk in than dog shoes and you can wash them + easily remove once you come in the house. Your floors will be cleaner and your rugs.
