I also liked how this movie implied that people have more than one "soulmate". A lot of people believe that there's only one person out there for them, but it depends on the path that they take. There are multiple people on Earth that can potentially be right for you. It just depends on location and circumstance.

I loved this movie. I think all of us have some regrets about one of our decisions in the past and we keep wondering what would happen if we chose a different path. Would we be more successful/happier? Recently I realize that "what goes around, comes around", maybe things were supposed to happen the way it happened, and we are exactly where we're supposed to be right now. Just keep moving forward, nuture our passions, continue to pursue what we love, and we will all get there no matter which path it is. Maybe a little slower or faster, but eventually we will be there.

Oh, me too so much. 'breederganda' is a thing! I'm interested to see how they go with this, especially in light of Roe v. Wade & the character being in Austin (I'm assuming Texas? Not from the US). It has the potential to be a conservative cautionary tale about not having premarital sex & keeping the kid if you fall pregnant, cos look how happy & fulfilled she is! Hopefully it will be a lot more nuanced than that, & give a good story to both outcomes..... but even then it treads the line 'just keep the kid, you'll be happy either way'. If it doesn't show a fair representation of how this all too common story really plays out in the US (costs of healthcare, impact on the mum's body, poverty from an unskilled one income family, the strains of having to depend on parents etc etc etc) then it will come across as somewhat propagana-ey. Maybe they could make season two the same premise, but with the lead being a WOC, to show the different experience she would have...... but I get the feeling they're going for heartwarming rather than realistic. Still, it can be done, 'Mom' does it brilliantly.

I had things I shouldn’t have done but never regret any of it, it shaped me. As for relationships and babies it’s up to you if you want to see them as a blessing or a curse. Deciding not to have children for a host of reasons is a decision I celebrate. However it took many years to come to that decision.
One of the things that gave me peace in the “do I don’t I” battle was realizing that if I had a kid there would be happiness and good things but I’d be missing out on stuff. If I didn’t have children there would be happiness and good things but I’d be missing out on some stuff. Both decisions have good and bad and I picked the one that felt authentic to me.
Women are shit on when they make any choice. No kids? You’re bad and wrong. One kid? You’re bad and wrong because baby needs a friend. Had a kid too young? You’re bad and wrong. Had a kid too old? Judged for that too.
Time to let each other make the choices that are best for them. If someone makes a different choice it’s not bad it’s just different.
Make the choices that fit you best! And if anyone gives you crap for making choices you’re happy about, then you don’t need them!
This movie looks like a cool narrative and reminds me of how I made the decisions I made.

I agree with @kayesemana you are very lucky XD I got to be in a Netflix show, but they basically cut out all of my scenes you can literally just see my arm and the back of my head on two different occasions. Not going to lie, I cried when I watched it I was so upset, they even did a huge close-up of me and everything while we filmed, and they cut it out as well. The only other part I was "in," that they hadn't cut out, they had an EXTREMELY tall guy blocking right in front of where I was standing. I was so excited after we filmed it I was telling everyone to watch it and that I had a close-up and everything and of course, no one could find me...It was humiliating and so embarrassing. I wish I didn't tell people to watch it. I'm not going to lie it made me so self-conscious, like I wasn't good-looking enough to have been kept in at all. I even was almost in the second season of the same show, so I thought I could get redemption. Still, after the initial email stating I would be in it, they said they would send me a follow-up on the filming date with the address to go to for filming and everything. I literally waited around all day, and it caused a giant argument because my ride and I didn't get to eat at all that day. We didn't want to get or make food that we wouldn't be able to eat once I got this email that never arrived. They just never messaged me back, and that was that...I'm glad to hear that you had better luck than me, though.
