    Did it years ago in a Bronco II and the pass wasn’t even open. Fun times!

    Did these trips in the 90’s with my dad. St Elmo was still a ghost town, not a tourist spot. Still had an old boxcar off the beaten path from Midland days. Most of that road off US24 is old Colorado Midland and South Park rail grades. Did you go up to Alpine Tunnel? If not you missed the best part of the trip.
