There have actually been a lot of updates to the first story (it was a whole saga) and one of the updates that the mother visited the sister pretending to have found god and tried to manipulate her into coming back with her. Story #3 is hilarious. This is why everyone needs friends. Friends tell you, to your face, when you are being an idiot. This guy is a good friend for being patient and understanding without failing to call out his buddy's bullshit. Don't worry OP, I'm sure once the test is done or the pregnancy is over, you will be friends again. Possible solution: have a doc that neither one of them know explain how that whole thing works. Maybe if it comes from an outside expert it will be easier for OP's friend to understand.

That father is smiling down from Heaven for the son’s action and character. It appears the brother has become the father figure the sister never had. Looks like all will be well in time. Story one: Happy ending I guess, the OP is an amazing brother, and I am glad that the sister and her future little family got a chance to improve, and even more happy that they're trying to do so.
Story two: Definitely would've made him walk. Never harass women. The problem wasn't the engagement night (it made it worse yeah), but like there is no way in heaven nor hell where you can harass others (not just women, ANYONE).
Story 3: The guys an idiot, no question.... OP was right.

Damn, this whole situation with the sister's actions and immaturity was similar to what I had predicted from the first part. The sister was being severely manipulated by the mother, and unlike with OP, she completely fell for her mother's borderline brainwashing. That line the mother spewed, "I am God," seems to have been the situation the sister was being put in. OP could've easily abandoned the sister after the decades of abuse he received from her, but he decided to offer her help and as a result helped the sister recover. Props to the boyfriend as well, for sticking with the sister despite all the abuse her mother threw at him.

Story 1: I'm really happy that op's sister got out of their mother and is gonna do well for her child and that op helped his sister and brother-in-law; I'm most happy that the sister is now not being a spoiled brat anymore.
Story 2: Who in their right mind checks other girls on their Engagement night??? And more importantly in front of your father?? Like your are engaged now you should focus on your fiance and your future wedding. I'm really happy that the father taught him some manners, and kinda upset at the mother, yes I know she might not heard or seen what her son did.
Story 3: Not wanting to be rude but that's kinda stupid, the girl is pregnant how can the child be not hers?? I know the friend is probably nervous of potentially being a father but calling your friend stupid about something they are specialized and studied for long is kinda frustrating to hear.

To be honest, I am incredibly satisfied by the ending of this story, considering I myself have been in such a conflict before. My father was almost the same as the woman from the story and accused my mother of cheating on him. He has always been a disgusting, toxic narcissist and was both physically and verbally abusive. After things started to escalate back when I was 16, I decided it was time to end this hell of a life and with a lot of troubles helped my mother divorce him. He then attacked us on multiple occasions but since I am particularly physically strong, due to me working and lifting heavy things from when I was a little kid and also my harsh weight lifting that I used as a way to vent out my frustrations, he found himself outclassed in physical strength by a large margin. I reacted quick on his assault and me and my mother were unharmed but had to go to a hospital, because a single hit sent him flying, because of my strength and adrenaline induced rage, that was just my body's natural response to his presence, because we were constantly alert and under pressure that he might try to do something like attempting a murder. He tried to sue us for assault and lost the case. After that we got a restraining order issued and bought the house off of him and he is currently swimming in debt, because he was taking huge loans to try and carry out false statements of me and my mother trying to rob and murder him.
Considering that I have experience with such things, only if I had the monetary means to do this much earlier, because right now I am a broken man after what happened (just problematic nerves, meaning short fuse and when angry I go ballistic), and also had the possibilities that the OP had, life would have been lovely. I am honestly wondering how WE as a species have made it this far with human garbage like this.

  • @foogod4237

When I was listening to the first part of the story, I honestly felt a little bit bad because it sounded like as a result of all this (in addition to having to deal with that kind of mother) he was likely going to end up thoroughly estranged from his sister, mostly just due to the mother's influence. Hearing this conclusion, it may not be perfect, but it is honestly the best possible result I could imagine realistically happening, and it's actually really nice to hear that at the end of things he seems to have a much better relationship with his sister (and her fiancee), she's developed a better outlook on life, and they have better prospects for the future too.
It's kinda nice to come out the other end of one of these stories actually feeling kinda good for once.
