- Work-life balance is the harmony between your personal and professional life. It involves managing your time and energy to meet both commitments while also prioritizing self-care and well-being
Employers: "you don't have enough experience to work here"
Employers: "nobody wants to work anymore"
I just spoke to my manager an hour ago and I told him that I was happy because I was working less hours and his response was you are lucky most people have to work full time including myself just to survive. that’s embarrassing how evil corp doesn’t even pay the prol managers enough either 😂
sometimes even supervisors are making a dollar more an hour
this year our merit raise was 75 cents
Cents on the dollar raises should be criminalized. it's an insult.@MillennialSteam
You are correct sir, no one cares about us poor people. We will always be slaves to the rich
The actor Matt Damon really thinks that anyone can just get any job. And that he's an actor because he like to be an actor. He really think life is as easy as wanting to be rich, then someone will be rich. Quoted by Matt Damon: "If people that are working as teachers doesn't want to be working as teachers, why don't they just work with something else; since the salaries are so shitty". "I always thought that teachers really wanted to work with teaching because the salaries are shitty". This is the mindset regular "celebrities" have, hilarious

@@VictoryBeardman Matt Damon is a weirdo, decent actor but not as versatile as his friend Ben Afleck. Actors are some of the most overpaid people next to professional athletes. I believe these entertainers should be paid well; but more than someone from a STEM background? No.
@@millabasset1710 Another example. Owen Wilson.
Don’t apologize steam. Rant videos are awesome. If anything you’re not ranting hard enough.
My theory is that all this firing people is often a supervisor's power trip in disguise. The hierarchical structure of the corporations allows for much talking down to the workers and people have been proven to abuse their perceived authority over others. Seems like it's mainly a clashing of egos and ritual to let out of pent-up emotion. You know some of these managers are fantasizing about firing a certain person.
Do they really think all this firing people is worth it? Honestly firing people sounds like a huge waste of resources with all the onboarding, explaining the job and meeting all the new people. It seems highly counterproductive. All the hiring and firing just appears like a lightweight example of cyclical trauma. Constantly yelling and putting folks livelihoods at risk, its very dramatic.
very good point, never thought about it that way, it reminds of the stand ford prison experiment
"He was wider than he was taller..." 🤣
Wish I got fired
MS, I've learned through the years what type of job you work determines what type of woman you will attract.

We need the "prol lives don't matter" t-shirt
Love the idea
Noone is more accurate in interpreting reality in my opinion. Luv the humour
I was wheeling a huge kombucha cart by you when you were there yesterday 😂
You didn't say hi ?
I help stock dairy when I'm done in the back. I've been leaving early lately though. Been using my pto or sick time for hours because I don't give an F
for years I only saw you in your uniform shirt, I have seen you 2 times without it on. I was stressed out and I probably thought you were hiding somewhere in the back, I never realized how big the back was. If you txt me while I was looking at you, that would have been weird.
@@MillennialSteam i got upgraded to a blue shirt now 😂
Last time you saw me, i was wearing a green shirt.
Im moving up in the world! 😂
@@MarsMellow84 blue shirt? Must be some sort of code that means you’re less poor? I need to know if you want to do something in the morning? It’s pretty chilly on the bike this morning. We should go ride bikes around?
@@MillennialSteam I used to think that being in a management position meant you got paid more 😂
But there's new employees who make 16 an hour here. Took me 10 yrs to make that. It's so degrading
@@MarsMellow84 there is no point in working hard
Work life balance. There is some work like balance in a corporation, the only problem is, is that when you wish to leave, you have to go through a lot of hoops to get out of that it’s a little bit disheartening.
I have an 12 hour shift at Five Guys this Saturday wish me luck. 😊 I will have to drink 3 large cups of Powerade to make it through 😊
Unless I was getting paid minimum $55 an hour or above I wouldn’t even think about spending that much time at any job for that matter but I wish you luck with that shift lol
Try monster
@@JohnQPublic345 I don’t like the taste of Monster Energy drinks 😳💀
@@victorbaird8220 try the mean bean. It's coffee flavored
Five Guys is no longer Five Guys. It's now One Guy doing the work of Five.
Interesting development in Europe by the way, might lighten up your day...in a draft that might (but I doubt it will in this form) become new legislation, all companies will be required to report "Ratio = (Entry level wage)/(Minimum wage)". (Source for that is VSME ED, January 2024, by EFRAG, page 33). For now voluntary, but EU has a habit of grabbing companies by the gonads...I'll let you figure out the implications of that, especially for job searching. Doubt the Corporate States of America or EvilCorp would want to even consider to implement something similar...but now that I know it, the whole pushback against this type of regulations makes a whole lot of sense. They (the C-Suite) treat their workers like toddlers, but have failed to look into the mirror...the behavior of some of these people...the fish starts stinking from the head.
As for braces: Use your side-teeth to chew, not your front teeth. Better to make your food into small pieces than biting into it like you're used to. And cleaning them will be freaking difficult. Mouthwash is your friend, chewing gum / toffee / sticky foods won't be a good idea, there's toothbrushes specifically made for wearers of braces (they are smaller so you can get behind the wire) and if you can afford it, get one of those water-jet tooth cleaning things. Having braces sucks.
I bought a water pick weeks ago in anticipation of getting them
🙏
@@MillennialSteam Check the manual too, with some of them you can add mouthwash concentrate into the water tank.
