The Uber Riche landowners (foreign & domestic) own most of the land, the Merchant Class are given Tid Bits (to keep them from rebelling) and the peasantry do the lions share of the work. They're paid a pittance (so they aren't classified as Slaves) and are subsidized by the Evil Federal Government (so they don't starve). Did I miss anything?
