I don't like the red and blue versions, either, so I just went for the all-black version. That said, the 9T beats the SE in battery and performance so, if you'd ask me, I'd tell you to go for the 9T with no questions asked.

There are 2 types of portrait mode on both of the devices , using zoom and regular lens, all you have to do to activate the redular lens is to tap the litte human icon in the left upper corner while in portrait mode !
underwhelming cameras can be easily solved by sideloading the Google Pixel Camera port apk from XDA takes way better photos in auto mode though it lacks a manual mode which can be a bummer for those wanting granular controls over their images
In my own personal preference, Mi9 SE is my choice because of that more industrial design, simple yet elegant to look at, I'm not a heavy user at all I mostly use social media apps
My Most Important Spec is the Phone Size ! The Mi9 Se has the perfect size for my hands, better Design , No Pop-up camera..(plus for me) slightly worse battery and processor.. my current Phone is 3 years old so every processor is a huge Upgrade for me .. and iam not a gamer ! due to the small size screen of the Mi 9 SE, it has a more dense pixel density than the Mi 9T .. but in the video, it is stated that they are equal in pixel density ..
It's not even a contest for me, the mi 9T is far better value for money, especially as it's a larger screen without that horrible notch. The only thing that's holding me back from buying it is the lack of SD card support, especially as 4K video would need a lot of storage. A comparison with the Samsung A70 would be good because that has an even bigger screen but with SD card support but with an annoying notch again ..
@@ondrav3705 I don't think that would be necessary, with 128gbs internal storage and then an SD card up to 1tb there would be more than enough storage. Yes you could use a flash drive but that would be rather difficult if you were out for the day on holiday and there wasn't one available. I respect your preference though.

Mi 9 se miuo 10 (11.4) was buggy and very bad GPS. After software update my GPS as good as crippled. And it's unusable for me because I need to boom grab and look for directions and mi9 se failed. also since the first iaomi phone till now it will restart when talking halfway and listening to music
9se has the Sony IMX 586 while the 9t has the Sony IMX 582 both are identical in terms of the picture quality, the difference is only in the video recording capabilities IMX 586 can record 4K videos at 60 fps whereas IMX 582 can not record 4k videos at 60fps but it can record them at 30 fps. I like both but for me the camera is more important than the performance and I like the pics from the Se better. So I bought the Se although it was more expensive than the 9t :D

6.39 inch is to big for the hands. You have to use both hands a lot of times. If the MI 9 SE have a full display I would definitely chose that one.

Iv got a mi 9t and works great runs all day with battery and I play alot of games and CZcams etc tbh I use this phone more then my S10 plus. Love it
