So if I've only got a 55 gallon drum and it's full of water and I got my 4gpm simpson machine I'd go through that tank in 13mins
Then what I'd be maybe done one side of a house

Just a tip....
When drilling with your hole saw, run the drill in reverse. You will get a cleaner hole.

CAN I RUN THE WATER HOSE FROM THE HOUSE DIRECTLY TO MY PRESSURE WASHER AND THEN HAVE THE RETURN WHIPLINE RUN WATER INTO THE BUFFER TANK THEN FROM THE TANK HAVE IT ALSO GO TO MY PREASURE WASHER WITH A MULTI-hose connection thing. I really want to keep using the tank just as somewhere to unload the water from the pressure washer so I don’t ruin my pump by not being in the trigger. Thoughts please.
Do you use TruBlue on the brass connection from the tank to pressure washer pump inlet ?
Yes I do anywhere that I use in nPT pipe I put true blue on it

They were soft wash pump on this one is at comet pump
I have installed this valve but I’m getting intermittent overflowing. Has this happened to you?
I have connected nothing but a garden hose to the float valve to keep my tank full. But sometimes it decides to fail causing overflow.
Do I have a bad new float valve or is this a common problem with these.
Not sure which direction I should go from here.
Most likely a bad valve or crap in that valve.
Do you run a pump from the buffer tank to the pressure washer?
No I do not
Not even on a direct drive pressure washer?
