Don’t be lazy. Redrill your hole for the switch housing and put the grip on properly. You can shave down the plastic sleeve to get the right length. I know sometimes redoing you work sucks but it’s better to do things right. No big deal in having an extra hole on the bottom of the handlebar. That’s why it’s always best to remove the grip before drilling the hole.
Just reposition the grip on the tube properly and drill a second hole in the correct position. The tape is a bit of a cop out. Otherwise good job.
I agree take the tape off and fix the throttle but otherwise its an awesome bike great work!!!!

I ALWAYS get rid of the stud when doing this. As long as the assembly clamps on tight, you're good to go otherwise you will be limited by the position of the stud and you'll have handle bar sticking out the side.

Looks great except for the throttle you should take the grip back off cut the throttle tube to the right lengths then slide the grip back on looks like that has the long throttle tube which is like 6 in in you have 5 in handlebar grips so cut an inch off the tube

Looking great man good work! For me I love the look of cleaner bars. Some aftermarket low profile switches would really help that and get rid if the stock bulky ones. If not mentioned already I would lose the electrical tape lol and just cut down the throttle tube and bar to fit the new grip for a better look. Bike is looking sweet though🤘
Man I absolutely love where this bike is headed. And it seems like it might be late now but I was thinking maybe just do a leather strap over the battery with the buckle on one side. If anything it's a good idea.

This bike is turning out super sweet. Just one thing, um, your not going to leave electrical tape between the controls and the grip are you? I mean it’s a little cheap after all the hard work you’ve put in. I personally would cut the end of the bar to take up the gap. Just saying.

I that I fully agree with Marcus. All the other stuff is what makes it a chopper (which I like the uniqueness), but that throttle tube could be shortened in no time and looking flush.
I used my belt sander to flush that tube up yo !! Easy Peasy

Is there a reason the battery box can't be put in sideways? It seems like that would make it much easier to get the battery in and out. I've never built a bike so IDK what I'm talking about but it seems sensible to me.

How can you accept this gas grip (it looks like it would easily brake off while riding the bike)? Why you don`t do it right?
And why did u not use the engine mount bracket, which is allready in place to mount the brake bracket on it? The additional bracket just doesn`t look right.
With all ur abilities and machines I would expect a much higher level (quality).
Despite my criticism I like to watch ur videos to learn and improve myself (even how not to do things...).
It's safe enough, but sure does look crappy.
Not really bobbing the bike here, it's just bolting on aftermarket tinsel. Or, throwing it on. From a great height.

You have covered the gap with the cable insulation on the ???. Your ignorance and lack of professionalism transcends all boundaries. A better solution would be to shorten the white section of the handle and pull back the grip. Greetings from Poland.
