    Really like the changes you made. Speedometer placement Perfecto! And simplifying the brake light mechanism to frame so much cleaner. Nice work Sir!

    Great job. Love the relocation. Using the original holes with a neater, smaller, and cleaner solution shows the fabrication skills you have. I love the relocation of the ignition. Yes it'll make for some wiring headaches, but it's more than worth it in the end, you're gonna have to rewire the bike anyway. I know some people like the key start ignition, but I'd leave the button. It's a better setup that still looks clean, and lets you retain the original key. This bike is coming along really good, and I'm a fan of the video series!!! Keep up the great work. I'm getting ready to rebuild my 88 sporty bobber. It's on a pauchgo rigid, ribbed rear fender, 35° raked front end, with a 2000 buell xb12 top end, s&s super e shorty carb, exotic choppers fuelies exhaust, and too many extras to add. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished product of this bike, almost as much as I am into seeing my own. Thanks again

    when drilling bigger holes in thin metal - go for a holesaw next time :)
    a holesaw in a Pedestal drilling machine is allso perfect for sawing tubes to get round edges, example when building a mc frame :) load up with different sizes :)
    and using the conehead for taking off the drillhole edges, speed machine down - you'll save the cones live span.
    just tips from a Swedish welder. over and out!

    it appears that you hold yourself out as a professional bike builder, at least you are building this bike to make money, which is cool, but your building style is totally hack. I could understand if you were just a do it yourselfer, but man you put zero care or attention into anything you do. it seems like you are trying to do it as quickly and as dirty as possible. good luck to you I guess, you have a lot of guys fooled, but a quality builder you are not, not hating just telling the truth from decades of building experience..............

    • @MOTOPILOT6
      @MOTOPILOT6  Před 5 lety +7

      It's typical that comments such as this are always from "faceless" people. Just sayin'. You are the minority and that's okay. But what you don't know is that even though I have been building custom bikes for decades, none were "fabrication" builds at this level. This is my first shot at it. And this is a hot rod style build...not a high-dollar, high-tech build. It's an old school bobber, not an OC Choppers build for a client with money to burn. I make mistakes but come back later and make them better. Consider that I haven't been a welder/fabricator for over 30 years but it's coming back to me every week. And I'm a one man show. And if you've ever "fabricated" a bike with the camera running you do feel rushed. You are burning up time and SD card memory. You can't bore the audience with slow paced details. A lot of the work is edited out the keep the video fast paced. A 15 minute video might be 6-8 hours of fabrication time. Try it some time. Start a bike build series of your own on CZcams. I'd love to see it. Until then your critique, even after "decades" of build experience, lacks video bike build cred. Thanks for watching. MP

      MOTO PILOT your come back, “you have credibility because you have a channel “ is really weak. So you don’t have time to do correctly, then take the time or don’t do it. I know you are making money as long as you get views and likes. If you think the only builds that are well done are “OC high dollar builds you are mistaken. Check out many other “home builds” on CZcams, their videos and builds are obviously the best they can do. I have no doubt you are a good builder but this video doesn’t give that impression. It’s unfortunate that you are upset by any negative comments. Don’t worry, this is my last for your channel, good luck on keeping these young guys fooled........,

    • @MOTOPILOT6
      @MOTOPILOT6  Před 5 lety +3

      @@XXX-qk2cq I'm not upset. Negative comments are a given on youtube. For every bad comment there are hundreds of good ones. CZcams never tells the whole story. And people on here lack the decency to simply be a good person. I see video's of bike builds where I shake my head. But I keep my thoughts to myself. What works for them may not always work for me.

    • @TheRoadhammer379
      @TheRoadhammer379 Před 5 lety

      Bro, I've seen you trolling other people's vids, you say shit but you never offer any of your work. With decades of build experience (a prerequisite to being a CZcams expert), surely you have something on camera, post it up and sit back and enjoy the criticism. Or is that your crutch, you critique because it makes you feel like the big man? It's a side gig, he's not a career bike builder unlike you with decades of experience...😂
