Dude, you used rattle can on a gas tank, not 2K? As soon as you spill one drop of gas on that tank when filling up the paint will be destroyed.

  • @Si-Toecutter

Here I am watching vids and using primer, filler, more filler, face mask n full suit n this geezer just bowls up n hits it with a can of black

  • @johnholmes6897

Oh yeah ! The second tank is much better

  • @jamespolucha8790

Who did you get to make your sticker for the tank, I’m building a sportster and trying to get a decal made but can’t find anyone in my area

  • @chyenneturner9966

Coming from an automotive painter you need to put primer on bare metal that paint will be flaking off in no time. Paint doesn’t adhere to bare metal

Too many harsh comments on here! Thanks for the video sir. I'm considering doing this to my bike just a little nervous lol.

No matter what anyone does do not use this video whatsoever as a guide for painting a tank. Have fun destroying your tank for those who don't listen.

I’m having trouble finding a clear coat that can hold up to having gas spilled on it.. any suggestions?

Noticed that all your bikes end up being the same but different colors

I would pin stripe the large area behind the cap. Probably stick to the same color scheme...Black,red,white.

Helmet looks like something an astronaut would wear, not a biker. Love the bike.

I use a jewelers hacksaw and some elbow grease for cutouts like that on fenders.

In my day fizz bomb paint jobs were king because after the first party, if there was anything left of your bike, it needed repainting.👍

Too bad you had to destroy your fender cutting out for the chain, instead of cutting sections out next time you should lay the fender against something that's concave inward and hammer those spots in a little like a dent,
