For a beginner video, I would’ve included at least a comment about torquing the drain bolt and filter to spec so the beginners don’t overtighten it

Oil filter doesnt have room in front of manifold on 2012 XC70, ended up removing the cap and flipping the lis around to change the filter in the space under the manifold 😅

My Volvo's never play nice after unless you reset the oil life monitor and level monitors.

Great to se you back making videos Chris. You aught to make more as i really enjoy all your videos.
Just a quick questions, my tech usually use a vacuum tank to suck up old oil from the dipstick hole instead of draining them from the bottom. Can you tell me a little bit about the good and bad between the 2 ways?

We have never experienced that method. Our best guess would be your mechanic wants to make sure everything is getting pulled from the oil pan so nothing is mixed or contaminated when doing a new oil change. Thank you for the nice comments.

My 3.2 non turbo owners manual shows 7.2 quarts.
    Any reason why the diff?

    does all T6 Engines needs 7.8 Q , mine on manual says less than that , S60 2011 T6 ?

It ranges from 7.2 and up. Once you check the dipstick, you more likely will add ore once the filter housing is drained completely.

What do use to keep the engine bay so clean?

We usually use an air hose. Chris is pretty meticulous when it comes to our project cars and engine bays. Wiping it down by hand is normally what he does. Thank you for noticing.
