- If you're stuck on a way to make your videos more interesting, you might want to try the humble metaphor. I don't think it gets its due.
A metaphor is not a simile. You aren't saying one thing is like another. You're making a direct comparison. This takes your ideas up a few notches.
You can also take a metaphor a very long way. You can reuse them again and again.
When you combine them with your own uniqueness, magic can happen.

Love it! I am new to the video making world so post edit is minimal for me. In fact iMovie and Final Cut Pro on my iPad is all I use at the moment. My last video was inspired by Halloween and titled are you scared of the wicked monster in reference to interest rates creating fear. I did not realize it at the time but I was using a metaphor. It felt so easy and got the most views I have ever gotten so far. I used a green screen with a ghost in the background. So fun thanks Steve this is a light bulb moment for me!!
