I think the secondary as currently setup is a D+ unit. There's a guy or 2 available I think the Giants can reasonably bring in that would upgrade that. I like the Long signing though assuming he's on a vet minimum or close, then he's a good depth piece at a bargain price.
I give it a c+ or b- based on the idea that they move flott to outside where I think he can be pretty lock down using the boundary and not defending 2 way go's as much and his tackling isn't as needed

C- on CB depth, Agree on Campbell and Dupree. If they could get both, and Howard at CB, the defense will win games on its own, once they jell. I trust Bowen more than Wink. Not a big fan of "character" coaches, like Buddy and Rex Ryan, Wink Martindale, Mike Ditka, and George Allen. Guys who really enjoy the spotlight and attention, even if often negative.
I give Schoen a B for the offseason so far. In FA, getting Burns will make a differance in the same way bringing in Okereke did last season, and bringing in Elumenor and Runyan should at least get the OL to adequate, as long as JMS and Neal can make positive steps forward. Grabbing Connor Williams would help the depth at both center and guard. Let's go Joe, grab a few of these guys! In the draft, I really like the Nabers pick, as well as Nubin and Johnson. Phillips is a coin flip, and Tracy looks like he could be real threat, but he'll have to show he can do the same things in the pros that he did in college playing the position only one year. The 6th round LB was a wild stab. Familiarity with the Giants ST coach I think.

We always pick up mid players when are we gonna sign a big name give me a JC Jackson or Xavien Howard tired of bargain basement shopping when it seems like the eagles splurge on every position this team really feels poverty at times.
This is why we are always 6-11 every year. The front office has no balls. They aren't aggressive in the draft. They don't sign huge playmaker to long-term deals. They never trade up during the draft. They are madly in love with Daniel jones. I'm not even angry anymore. I'm just deflated.
