Feeling better than last year for every offensive position group. Neutral on defense, except CB is a big concern.
We added brian burns to the edge our d line is going to be a monster our LBrs are awesome and we drafted a safety and cb in 2nd and 3rd rd
i feel like dru phillips might be able to develop into a decent slot cb over the next few years, and flott and mccloud fill in cb2 and slot for the time being. we all know deonte banks is deonte banks.

To be fair with Thomas’ injuries it was a freak thing this year and he would play through more stuff if the team was actually good and was worth playing for

A lot of Giants fans don’t even know we’ve upgraded the oline. They think we’re still trodding out the same five from last year going into this year lol 🤦🏽
This! So many people were calling for us to go OT at pick 6. Would’ve been a waste of assets
@@JDubb493And This! I couldn't believe how many people were complaining we didn't draft an O lineman. On top of the free agents we already picked up, this year's draft class was thin in the offensive line department.
It’s significantly better if not for the fact they brought in starting and backup caliber veteran OG’s and OT’s. They even have veteran backup OC if JMS isn’t ready. They should be considerably better. Not just improved.

Great video! I did not know Runyon was playing out of position last year and he was much better on left side. I was pissed bc it looked like Bredeson would be better than Runyan, but now i see it was a good signing. Thx
Honestly I think judging Evan Neal even tho he never played the opposite side is like judging someone for not writing well with their non dominate hand. Then u combine that with the fact that his coach was Bobby Johnson the war criminal. I understand why he failed. He wasn’t setup to succeed. I rather see Neal at left guard than see him at Right Tackle imo. (I’m pretty sure at Alabama he was a left tackle but if not then I’m just dumb)
But if Andrew Thomas gets hurt (God plz no) then I’d like to see Neal at Left Tackle if he’s not doing good at right tackle or guard
What I love the most is they got players who played many many snaps.
Yo I think the next topic should be who will be our CB2. Cuz right now we got either Flott or McCloud with either Darnay or Andru as our nickel
i think dru will develop great, but im fs concerned w our cb's next season. our safeties are great though, so i think while our cb room develops our safeties bail us out for the time being.
Think they wanna see if Flott can be CB2. If not they can always trade for or pick someone up who gets cut at end of Training Camp.

Last season the Giants O-line was consistently out of position against defensive stunts. That to me indicates a coaching failure. I don't know much of Bricillo, but he did well with a Raiders O-line that had less talented personnel.
One of the major problems we had last year was no competent back up to AT. Why was Tyree Phillips cut?? Then we had to go back get him from I believe Washington practice squad. I have to blame Daboll for that move.
It was Philly. For almost 2 months. And Tyree improved. I believe this contributed to Bobby Johnson's firing.
Hopefully we can actually pick up stunts this year .
@@jasonshaw4230 yup. You’re right it was. Stupid decision. I don’t want to think the worst of Daboll but Gano was sent out to kick a FG when he clearly was hurt. Adoree Jackson as a punt returner? Of course he got hurt. IDK. SMFH

It all boils down to this if are offensive line plays decent things will be a lot easiier. By the looks of the two quarterbacks For Me Lock looks more stable by what i saw.
Bricillo was our #1 FA signing. And I'm only 1/2 joking.

Of course we hope Neal is at least ok. But maybe he would be ok backing up Thomas since its his natural position.
Is it a lot to ask to go from 32 in offensive line rankings to 26-27 , let’s see some progress, growth .

1 indicator Johnson was a bad coach is that the Giants couldn't pick up any stunts. This year they should be able to pick up stunts. JMS will have better guard play next to him, better coaching, and hopefully he bulked up a bit more. I expect JMS to be above average this year. Giants should grab Dankwah on cut down day from Phi to replace Runyan on short run plays and develop as swing tackle.

Evan Neal is another Eric Flowers and the Giants need to move him to guard ASAP
Ezeudu hasn’t had a chance to develop at all. He was injured most of his first season, wasn’t used much his second season and then was asked to play left tackle last season. They gotta give this guy a chance to develop at the position he was drafted at, which is guard.
We know management ask Evan Neal to move to guard he barked at it personally he sits the bench and injury to someone is the way he gets back on the field
Everyone says cross training on oline is the hardest so talking about cross training Neal with the way he played is not the most effective thing I feel like
I think the biggest upgrade we made was offensive line coach and the offensive line and we finally replaced special teams coach we had the same offensive line coach for three regimes ridiculously stupid
Giants have been throwing a lot of darts hoping some would stick. Only Andrew Thomas has atick. We need better darts.
