Cant understand your laws...if it's written on a package "Don't leave on for more than 8 hours" you can't sue them, but if someone tells you "don't leave it on for more than 8 hours" and you leave it on for 16-17 hours you can sue them? Incredible.

As someone with a genetic condition that has unique scarring- I now know an influencer I can not support because her take away from scars is that they make you a ‘monster’
In the second case, I don't know why it wasn't her first instinct to go to an urgent care. She's living an influencer's life, and if her body is her job, she needs to take ideal care of it. They would likely have the means to remove the tape without causing major damage to her body.

Does not matter at all. They're responsible for taking care of the ice so incidents like this don't happen, it doesn't matter about anything the influencers post negative things about them. It's the law. Lol
On the second. She told her it was the wrong tape and the girl insisted, and the woman told the girl when she needed to take it off and how. The end part were the stylist told her to rip it off yeah her bad. But that influencer had wrong in it too. Smh. Pretty priveledge frfr. 51/49 thing he normally does would have been better

She was adamant that it was the gouge in the ice, then it was the laces, then the people who told her it was ok. She had a choice not to skate if you thought it was unsafe. She is defending going the wrong way. Nahhif you are entitled yes get what you deserve but she is really trying.

Looks like she kicked the Ice with the toe of the ice skate and snapped the money shot along with the laces being short. Judge is like oh boy yes I see your evidence but come on she got medical bills to pay. You got the money. 30/70.
You can’t say to use any type of product to remove the duct tape because it’s not supposed to be applied to the skin anyway. Then to tell her to “rip it off” is insane!

That lady tripped and she's looking for a handout. It's very unfortunate that she was injured. However that happens sometimes you take a risk when you do anything it does not mean that is the cruise lines fault. I haven't seen it and but since the judge usually rules and favor of the plaintiffs I'm guessing she got paid. And for the record I strongly disagree with most of this judges rulings. Most of the time these people get injured by their own stupidity and it is unfortunate and I do feel bad for the people but that doesn't mean others should pay

Both the cases should’ve been 50/50. First one lady is doing wrong actions but ice wasn’t maintained properly. Second the plaintiff insisted use the tape knowing it was the wrong kind of type.

@@Spiceluvj she has a very serious injury pulling tape off she got injured. She’s a beautiful female and that lady is responsible for her injury. She’s definitely going to get compensation for her injury. If the lady likes it or not.
She is still a beautiful woman, even with the scars that she has. The other woman was dead wrong, making her look that way, telling her to pull the tape off her body, but I’m so glad the judge decided in her favor justice serve for her.
She won her battle. The guy didn’t maintain the ice rink. She got her money. Just gotta be careful out there.

22:06 In the first place Duct tape should never be used on skin for any amount of time! Eight hours is still way to long, and either if those things , like alcohol are not a guaranteed to take offf the tape without injuring the skin.
My thing she couldn't see the whole in the ice and if she did slipped she would have slipped on her but or she would have slipped face first
I am a figure skater when I'm on the ice I'm going so fast I don't have time to be searching the ice while I'm skating. You shouldn't be looking down while you're skating no matter if it's ice or hard flooring. They have big machines that are supposed to be ran across the ice that's supposed to smooth the down and while it's smoothing the ice the ice that's more or less plowed up is pushed across the ice and it fills in any and all holes that are in the ice

The skater sounds sketchy to me. I'm not saying that she did or didn't get hurt as a result of the hole in the ice. I'm wondering how she was injured so severely, and there's not one drop of blood in her photo? When did she take the picture, before or after she was supposedly injured? I'm surprised the defendant did not ask anything about the timing of the photo. If it was taken pre-injury, then she knew it was there and chose to skate anyway. That's on her, not the cruise line. She presented herself as someone who thought she would maybe fall, make a few quick bucks, and go on with her life. Unfortunately, she didn't think things through beforehand and ended up with an injury that she didn't count on. She obviously wasn't to worried about the laces either, or she wouldn't have used the skates. If you're going to try to scam someone, make sure you know what could happen to you. She stated that the ice rink was very busy that day, but she's the only one who fell, yah right.

Sometimes I am in agreement with the judge , the second case not the stylist fault it’s the influencer fault who was in a hurry. She should have known better sometimes the judge is not fear , I think he could have find the influencer faulty too and drop some of the charges. Smh 🤦♀️

I’m pretty sure the label 🏷 n the duct tape doesn’t recommend use on skin! Plus, the stylist should have known from her previous dealings with the plaintiff that breast tape might be needed and either provided it or refused to do it!

29:47 I feel a question was missed here, I would have asked the defendant, “do you still/have you use/d duct tape since?” If the answer is no, then; “if you’re not in the wrong, why did you stop using the tape?”.

I seriously don’t agree with the judgement. People before her could have fallen Incase the gauge was there, the incident or someone would inform this. I have seen that this judge always gives support to people who are hurt. For eg: if someone comes to my home and due to any reason trips and falls, you can’t blame me to not keep my home according to other people’s required. That’s stupidity of not seeing and falling. But I may loose in front of the judge, because I allowed the person to enter my home. Accidents happens, and if everyone keeps getting for his or her own mistake, that’s so wrong on the defendant.
Where was the evidence of the ice gouge. I only heard her word on that dosen't seem like evidence to me
Disagree with both decisions. Electric shock case. If you try to enter residential or commercial property without permission!! I believe that's breaking & entering as well trespassing.
Second with the tape; completely ridiculous. (A) I'm sure she pressured the poor girl and eas to impatient for her to go get the correct tape!! (B) Don't know about you but if something is stuck to my skin that harshly. I certainly don't need somebody to tell me to use a Qtip and some alcohol or oil and gently remove it!! Very disappointed with so called justice.
That duct tape was not appropriate, but why the model took it, her fault..and when she was told to rib it off, she should start from breast no 1, why did she do it from both breast... I think she should not be awarded anything, because by phone the other lady was not aware of her current status, she should know it better and go n find help because that tape was already too tight at that time...why the judge dont look at thing comprehensively...is this just for a TV show or real thing?
