- Kenworth C500, T800H and T800 dump trucks along with Western Star dump trucks feed asphalt into a CAT paver under the night stars in Vernon, British Columbia. The rehabilitation project project occurred over 3 three nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM respectively, to lessen the inconvenience to motorists.
I apologize for the constant clicking. An uncooperative rolling gimbal. The camera’s LED intermittently blacked out causing wandering shots. The night sky was darker than it appears. Difficult to keep the trucks in view. Hence many wondering shots.😬

I’m about to start driving dump trucks soon with asphalt . I have a question . While the bed is up in the air , Is the truck in neutral while the yellow machine is pushing it or he is just driving slow ?

Be mindful; when reversing to the paver stop short, inches away, allow the paver to approach the truck, …don’t bump the rollers, if you must don’t do it hard, this causes deviation in the mat.
Yes, neutral, also be mindful; keep a light application on the brakes, holding the machine and truck together.
