In todays vlog I wake up earlier than normal to head to a pure barre class. A collision on the freeway made it impossible for me to get there in time! A drive that usually would take 20 minutes took an hour and a half, so naturally I was getting pretty frustrated. At the end of the day IT ALL WORKED OUT :) as it always does. woo. sorry I kind of lost my shit there for a second.

Don't feel bad for "just making CZcams videos." You have a huge influence and sharing information about these climbs and cancer research brings awarensss to these things that may not otherwise be talked about. Also you make amazing videos and CZcams is something you're great at!

You should consider applying to a college/university! I'm not trying to say that everyone should go to college but it's such a valuable experience! You'll meet so many new people and you'll have your every day structure back 😄 There are thousands of interesting courses and I'm sure you'd find one that really sparks your curiosity plus you'd be able to continue your CZcams channel, cause there's always enough free time to do what you love!

Really loving today's vlog, I am glad I'm not the only person who yells at traffic sometimes. This whole thing felt suuuuper relatable, so excited to see more of Seattle through your blogs when you move there!!!!
The title literally describes my life.
Oh Seattle... I've lived here my whole life (25 years) and I will still never get used to the traffic. It's so unpredictable even during rush hour. Seattle drivers are also assholes... Anyway, I'm doing the Space needle climb, I've been training at Richmond Beach, if you're ever in Shoreline you should try them it's 188 stairs total. I try to do at least 5 sets each time, and there's a beautiful view at the top. :)

Monica! I've been reading some other comments about you going back to uni but in Seattle this time, and I totally agree. Next term/semester you should consider enrolling on a part time basis (not sure if the US has this but it's just only a few units per semester instead of a full load) and just dabble in some subjects that interest you. It'll give you a bit more daily structure, you'll meet sooo many people and it's always good to learn something new. Just something to think about, I don't think everybody needs to further their education by any means but maybe the school you went to in LA wasn't right for you and maybe UW will be. On another note, thank you so much for committing to another stair climb and using your platform for good, my favourite youtuber by far!

I would suggest to go to university than fighting with your millennial crisis :) There are many interesting degrees and it will create a lot of opportunities for you. They say when you cannot find what to do create options. On the way you may discover something interesting. If not knowledge and structured thinking never hurt anyone. And its a fine ride, you ll make friends, travel, learn!

I love your honesty about the smoothie. I feel like everyone’s like omg I loooooove green smoothies they taste sooooo gooooood. Then I get one and I’m like why does this taste like earth?! Monica, don't discount what you are doing! Sure, it's not cancer research but most people aren't doing something like that anyway. You are extremely talented with what you do and it is helping so many people. I know after a long day in grad school I get so excited when I see a video from you! You brighten my day and give my brain that time to take a break and escape into someone else's life for a while. I'm sure your vlogs have helped people through some really terrible times and that's just as important as cancer research in my book! Keep it up! Love your vlogs!

I'm from Oregon but I was in Seattle last summer and I had to drive on the freeway alone- as soon as I got to my destination I just sat in the car and cried because it had been the most stressful 3 hours of my life trying to navigate through all of the traffic. Not used to that here haha. But now I look back and laugh at how unfortunate it was 🤣
