Monica this vlog just made me so happy. It is so nice & refreshing to watch someone that is genuinely kind and generous and you showed that so well in this video! going above and beyond when tipping the driver was so sweet, and taking the time to share ways other people can be courteous and kind was something that people don't do a lot on YT, so it's so nice to see you share stuff like that!

I loved what you said about etiquette. A few weeks ago, my family got caught in a downpour in DC (we live in the suburbs), and one of the museums was just letting everyone in without going through the metal detectors to get out of the rain. I had expected they'd still require everyone to go through the metal detectors (which takes up time), cause duh, safety, and I was so grateful they were letting everyone just pile in. I said thank you to every employee we passed, then ranted to my mom about how rude it was that no one else was thanking them for being so generous. It's important not to take things for granted! I also always say thank you to pilots cause uhh yeah, my life was just literally in their hands!
I always thank the flight crew & pilots for getting us to our destination safely. My daughters also are learning to say thank you to them. :)
I always say thank you after a flight! Also in Canada everyone always says thank you to bus drivers when we get off public transit! It's the little things!
I am so glad I started watching Monica's vlogs because she just seems to get life and also I love her personality haha

Yeah I was always taught to pick up my drink and sip, it's kinda the same as picking up the food w your mouth. Sometimes if the drink is tall enough that I dont have to lean down too much then I wont pick it up

I dont normally go to Starbucks back home (Seattle)...but for the last 3 years I've been travelling...a lot...and at one point I was motorcycling around India and found a Starbucks in Bombay...I was COFFEE STALKING and it was in a mall and EXACTLY the same as the ones in SEA town... Pikes place wallpaper...same colors...for just one sec, I was transported home. keep rockin those edits ;)

ahhhhh i was at a camp at the university of washington and left the day you posted this !! so close to seeing you at the airport or something i swear.
i get the sense you're trying to get a bit of a college experience, living in the UW neighborhood, talking about going all out while it's summer (even though it doesn't matter because you aren't in college and can go all out any time of the year). are you thinking about going back to college again?

I saw a video from 2016 about how u fly so much and I think young age isn't much of a problem. It's just that you have to find opportunities that you have and be grateful. I'm 12 and this year only, I've been to around 24 flights and you might say I'm rich and all but no. I use my opportunities cuz my dad is a pilot and we get discounted tickets but we're not priority.
