Hello my Beautiful People! Welcome back to another Goddess episode!
I am thrilled to be talking about the Irish Goddess Brigid tonight. The more I learned about her the more I liked her! Brigid is known as the Goddess of Healing, Poetry and Smithing. She is associated with bringing the light to the Earth in Springtime, as an end to the darker days of Winter. She is a protector of mothers and children, livestock, homes and is beloved by midwives. She is known for inspiring poets and artists of all kinds, especially skilled craftsman and fine architecture. She is often associated with Smithing, the forging of tools and weapons by means of fire. Fire is an important symbol of Brigid, as it is the beginning of a cycle of Creation and Destruction. She is a very well rounded, fair, strong goddess that is still inspiring people today. I hope you enjoy todays pour honoring the Goddess Brigid, the Exalted One.
The colors I have chosen have meaning: White is often associated with Brigid so I have used that as my basecoat color. The Emerald Green is for Irelands rolling green hills. The Orange and Yellow are fire colors, and also bright happy colors for Spring. The Copper is for the color of the Goddess' hair, and the Gold is for the shimmer from her cloak that is said to be made of Sunbeams, Her cloak was said to expand to any size to protect as many people as needed, getting big enough to protect all of Ireland under it.

I love the colors in this piece, and really enjoy the contrast between the brighter orange and yellows against the metallic emerald green. If I did this pour again I probably would not put down a basecoat and then flip my cups. I would flip the cups and then put a flow extender around the colors to keep them bright instead of made paler by the white. As it dries I know the copper will show up more and the color shifting magic trick of the Pebeo Iridescents will be more visible. I will show you the completely dry results in the next video, as well as the the first piece I created.

The green to the left side upper looks like a person with long hair. Awesome always beautiful work.

Wow Mina this is amazing! Thank goodness there was only one layer of the Emerald. It is gorgeous. Just right. I always thought orange and green would be hard to paint with together. Thanks for showing us. Also, loving these stories!
Fabulous Mina, being Irish, Wiccan and born on St. Patrick’s Day this was a real treat! Thank you!
Youre so welcome! Happy Birthday!! ❤️
I am just loving the Goddess journey! I went and found the poem and printed it off! Pretty colors you choose for Bridgett the Goddess💖💖💖💖
Brigid is such a beautiful and lovely goddess. The colors are so pretty. Your painting captures her elegance and softness guiding the movement of your paint. Mina, your storytelliing of her history and all she stood up for and created had me misty eyed. She flew straight into my heart. I've never heard of her before and am enthralled with her. I think your painting today is one of my all time favorites of the favorites you've painted before. Oh my gosh and you and HoA get to go and see her statue and learn more lore and mythology while in Ireland. That's going to be insanely joyful. What a gift!! That is awesome. Well, I think Brigid has stirred many hearts today. She is quite special. Thank you for introducing her to all of us.❤ I'm quite moved by how you expressed her and brought her to life within your paint.
Thank you so much Raven! I'm so glad you enjoyed Brigid!! ❤️
I love all this

Wat een mooie kleuren combinatie ze passen mooi bijelkaar ❤ En je verhaal over de godin past er zo goed bij .❤
I love it!
Beautiful!🧡💚
Gorgeous! ❤❤❤
I think that the well is shrine to St Bridget - who is patroness saint of Ireland and often conflated with the goddess Brigid. I loved the painting.
Beautiful painting 😍
Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit! 😊 Happy St. Patrick's Day. The Irish flag is also Green, White, and Orange, for the inclusion of and aspiration for the unity of the Irish people.
The painting is beautiful. I think it has just as much green as the other pour, but it is more spead out.
Very pretty
❤😍🔥☘️
Very pretty Mina 💕💕🐣
amazing 😍
Brigid is my gal!❤ she is Triple Goddess of Healing, Forge and Home. she is a sweet and fiery soul..her day is Feb 1 or 2nd.
Ostara is Gddss of spring.
I have been enjoying your dad is Siri‘s. I have learned a lot about each of the daughters to you you research. 23:33
The squeaky gloves…. I just can’t handle the sound. It makes my teeth hurt. Lol!!! 😂😂😂
But, I love the colors. Maybe another time you can change the emerald to a greenish turquoise color and add a tiny bit of red. I use that combination of colors in my art when I tie dye and make jewelry. the contrast is beautiful, it is very popular, and I love it.
You saw a pea pod and I saw a monstera leaf.
