- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new costco haul and food prep video! So after I share the costco food haul / grocery haul I do a bit of food prep which I hope you enjoy watching me prep my fruits and veggies! My favorite now is the slow mo as I wash them! A new highlight is the photo I take of my organized nice looking fridge when I get finished with the ingredient prep / food prep! I hope you enjoy how it looks too because let me tell you, it doesn't stay that way for very long!! haha OH YEAH I also share one of my all-time favorite recipes for edible cookie dough because who wants to spend $5 on a tiny tub of edible cookie dough when you can make it at home for pennies as easy as 1.2. eat. It's dangerous because it's so simple to make and so delicious!

AGREE: Fruit in the fridge = cold and delicious. Fruit on the counter = GNATS all over the house.
Everything in the fridge here, too! Except the onion/garlic family and an avocado taken from the fridge to ripen, one at a time.

I have gnats now. I don’t know how to get rid of them.
@@StandingInMyPower Put all food in fridge and wipe everything down. A dribble next to a jelly jar lid is enough to keep them reproducing. Don't even leave onions or potatoes out. It may take a few days for gnats to clear. Must take garbage out immediately as soon as there is any edible material in the garbage. Or keep bits of food in a container in the fridge until you are ready to take trash outside. They can live on almost nothing.

I am growing red and orange bell peppers in my garden now, and have grown yellow in the past. They do not go from green to yellow to orange to red. They go from green to red, or from green to orange, or from green to yellow, depending on the color you plant. That’s why the yellow, orange, and red are all the same price, but the green is cheaper.

I remember start watching you before WW was born; during the scool lunches faze and i was just 17 or 18 and I didn’t have kids but i really enjoyed watching you & loved your sense of humor and music taste. You’re fun, creative and welcoming (we’re basically friends). Now I still don’t have kids lol but i still wait for your updates as much as i wait for BTS, which is a big deal 😂

haha yes! She was shirtless so I had to zoom in to cut her out mostly but it was very cute!
We are the same way with groceries being organized in a certain way. What we have learned to do is to scope out who the baggers are we will pick longer lines sometimes just to get a good bagger of course that's a hit or miss kinda thing. And I ALWAYS compliment the bagger if I notice that they pay attention and do a good job.

Yup I am particular too about how my groceries get packed and yes it is a big deal because I just spent hours in a grocery store picking this stuff up and the last thing I want when I get home is confusion. I do not want my wet, frozen groceries in the same bag with my dry products. Who has time to dry the groceries going in the cabinet? I send my groceries down the belt in order to how my kitchen is set up, so I can place that bag exactly where it has to be packed away. Nope don't give me any extra to do after walking around for hours.

I am the same way with my groceries, NEUROTIC! Lol. They always get put on the belt in categories… Frozen, Dairy, Produce, etc… And I kinda expect them to be packed that way. Just makes sense. 🤷♀️

Yes a Wads video. I keep almost all my produce in the fridge. I don’t want a bunch of fruit flies in my kitchen because it is so hot in the South. I find it stays longer in the fridge. I can’t wait til they finish building our Costco. My morning is now complete the Wads and coffee.

Oh my, no one helps me put my groceries on the belt & I must bag my own groceries so I bag them the way I like-all refrigerated items in my one reusable bag, fresh fruits and veggies in my insulated bag. Just an idea for you. Love your channel for the comedic content. It does “put a little happy in my life”❣️
I hear you! At Costco we’re not really allowed to “bag” our groceries - they just place them in the cart but I can rearrange as I bring them to the car so 🎉

A great way to use softer peaches is to slice them, add a little sugar and lemon juice (to keep them from getting dark). I freeze them and use them in smoothies. Or I partially thaw them and add some 1/2 & 1/2. It's like eating fresh peach ice cream or a thick milkshake. Not as healthy as smoothies but worth the extra fat and calories sometimes!

I always group my groceries together as I put them on the checkout. Cold stuff together, produce together, bread with chips, cans together, etc. All in hopes the bagger will follow suit!!! I have been known to help bag as well! So yes, maybe a little neurotic?!! 🤦♀️

Good morning, Kim! I’m excited! When I hear the French music, I know we’re in for food!
Definitely the same about grocery bagging! When I’m in the store, I put things on the belt with the way they should be packed, too. Partly to prevent squishing, but partly so they’re easier to put away. I even put some heavier items spaced with lighter things so no one bag weighs two tons while two others can be lifted with a pinky. 🙄 As soon as they decide to pull out TWO bags, I know I’m in trouble! You’d think having two bags would help them balance things out, but noooo. They can’t help but start classifying things so they end up with a bag full of lightweight boxes and a bag of heavy jars. The they start the next two bags and somehow start pulling things at random and I end up with two giant jars in a bag, one on either side of bread or a delicate fruit or veggie. It’s maddening!
LOL Guess that really has me worked up! 🤣🤣
BTW, mushrooms and green beans are delicious together!

I keep all produce in the refrigerator as well. If it is not really hot I keep my tomatoes on the counter because they have better flavor than when I put them in the refrigerator.

Yes Kim, I am definitely a stickler on how my groceries are put on the belt, fruits with fruit, vegetables with vegetables, frozen with frozen, fresh meats with like items… so on and so forth, and BAGGED THE SAME…. the honey cornbread is our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE AS WELL, there’s NO BETTER CORNBREAD ON THE MARKET! Oh one more thing, did you know the bottom of a pepper 🫑 tells you if it’s sweeter or more bitter, the ones with 3 humps are considered “male” and are more bitter, the ones with 4 humps are considered “female “ and sweeter… it’s very true… thought I’d let ya know, our favorite is a female red!

I'm from the UK and our fridges are tiny compared to yours! Also, we rarely get super hot weather so most of our fruit stays in a bowl on the dining table 😊
