- Hey party people! Thanks for hanging out with me while I share with you this new grocery haul! I took a trip to costco started filming a shop with me video and realized that there wasn't a whole lot of new stuff out, I did catch some Halloween decor and stuff but I imagine most of the new stuff will come later in August or early September when everyone is back in school! So I shared with you our grocery haul for the coming weeks and of course I cleaned out my fridge and did some food prep / ingredient prep! “Only Human After All” definitely gives me chills! I always tear up whenever I hear the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and I don’t cry easily. This makes a lot of sense why either I put on a playlist to motivate me for chores or I start singing. Music rewards the brain!!

How strange!!! I thought the opposite! Surely EVERYONE feels that way! haha - I cry at almost every dance recital/theatre preformance I go to, even if my kids aren't in it, because the songs just hit me!

I know Aldi is not everyone's favorite place to shop, however they have a pretty great organic and gluten free selection which tastes good and is not horrible on the wallet. 💕

Yes. Some music brings me to tears. Lost my dad in 2012, then my only sister in 2016. They were both music lovers and exposed me to so much music. My sister was almost 11 yrs older than me and was such a guiding force for me, taught me more than I’m sure she ever realized. When I hear so much of those songs, I start crying or get shivers. I cherish that music and all the great memories. ❤️

that is how i am. i lost most all my fam cept my sister. i lost my only child my son of 16ys. songs brings back the memories. it makes me cy too. sorry for your loss.
I lost my grampa who raised me in 2004 and always find myself crying to so many songs. Music touches the soul in such an incredible way.

I can't sit through church, a concert, or a performance of any kind without tearing up. I just always thought I was an over-the-top emotional person.
Take it from a Brazilian: that pineapple is really green. Leave it out on the conter for a few weeks until it is yellow/orange. Cut it when it's ripe.
The brand ENJOY LIFE is a great allergy friendly option that my young niece LOVES.

I cry every time I hear “Because You Loved Me”. My daughter told me it’s how she feels about me, OMG tears! Also there are some C&W songs that my husband would sing to me, he has passed away but those always bring on the feels!!

I get goosebumps for sure!! My husband doesn't, he doesnt feel music the way I do. Worship is my favorite part of church and he says he just wants to hurry and get to the sermon, lol

With those Kirkland bars the protein one is 40g & the granola one was 24g, so the fibre & protein are higher because it is a larger bar, hence why it's almost twice the calories. In Australian packaging we have the serving size & 100g nutrition values to have a base-line of comparison, I'm surprised the US doesn't do this or maybe I'm not surprised. *Thank you for singing Grease 2 songs in your last vlog, that has been my internal soundtrack since & I need to watch the movie 🎥❤️ of course I get goosebumps, chills & cry when I listen to certain music, that's weird some people, the majority don't.

Well that's a big YESSS on the goosebumps thing. Thought it happened to everyone!! I feel like music is what keeps me feeling alive and a great song can always take me to a place in my mind that nothing else can!!! Goosebumps, chills, tearing up................in for all of it. I feel like it makes me more alive and for me, thats always a good place to be.
Sometimes I get chills while listening to music in languages that I don't even understand due to the singers voices and their ability to portray the feelings that they are singing about. ❤️😭

My daughter has Celiac disease so she can not have gluten (wheat, rye, barley, semolina, etc.) She’s only 8 and not gonna lie, it has been difficult. We have found some things that are like what she used to eat but still, birthday parties are tough, and she can’t eat school lunch any longer so now I HAVE to pack her lunch…..but it’s better than the alternative of damaging her small intestine! 🤷♀️. It will get easier!
Oh, and yes, I DO cry, get goose bumps, etc when I hear music. I thought it was a “normal for everyone” things. And I’m sad that others don’t but rest… addiction centers??? Lol, oh well, guess I’m addicted to music and chocolate 🍫😂

I have celiac too. I’m also one of those freaky celiacs that can’t even eat GF oats 🤦🏻♀️ but I can eat European wheat. I think it’s because our wheat in America is full of GMOs
@@thewadsquad for sure! I do that all the time. She's had her diagnosis for a year now, so most of our friends know, and alot of times they will buy some snacks for her to have. Makes me cry everytime. And her classmates will make sure they buy gluten free things too...even as part of their Valentines that they give out 😭
She went k her best friends slumber party and her mom had bought gluten free pancake mix for the next morning and a treat for her to have when they had cake.
@@thewadsquad We have that issue too. My girls will say they are ok with it, but sometimes say they feel weird not being able to eat the same thing. It is a struggle. Hoping you guys find a yummy alternative.

I love it when you bring out the doll hand. It instantly puts a smile on my face and it lightens my mood. Yes, I feel fantastic when music is playing and I have created specific play lists to wake me up on gray gloomy days and to energize me when I’m feeling sluggish etc. certain songs I can’t sing to because I’m filled with raw emotion so they too can help me reframe my mood. 😊

Often, folks with a tree nut allergies are allergic to stone fruit as well. Keep an eye on Avalina and see how she responds to the stone fruit. My brother cannot eat tree nuts or stone fruit. Sadly, I am allergic to kiwi and latex. I love kiwi, so sad. 😞 I’ve never been diagnosed with a dairy allergy but it certainly affects my digestion in a negative way.
I’m nurodivergent so when I hear certain music not only will it give me chills but it’s like a wave going from one ear to the other and sometimes it can be overwhelming but also amazing all at the same time.

I totally get chills when listening to certain music or songs. When Celine Dion first came out with the remake of Power of love back in the 90’s I could not not stop sobbing and the chills were endless. If I listen to new songs that have powerful meaning sure as heck I get chills!

My daughter has so many allergies. She can sometimes walk outside and break out in hives. Scary stuff. She went for her covid vac and broke out in the rash from head to toe, so she couldn't get the second one.
Have you heard of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome? Might be worth looking into! (Not a doctor, but her symptoms sound similar to mast cell patients)

I get chills when I listen to music but only if it's like a super super chorus or moment in the song, or a melody I really love! :) For example, that one song 'Im only human after all' the chorus...chills.

Also you can freeze goat cheese. We do it all the time, just throw the wrapped/sealed log in the freezer.

A particular musician that can always make me cry is Jacob Banks - specifically his live cover of Say Something, just beautiful! About the music tingling, certain songs that I absolutely love (like the Christmas carol Oh Holy Night, particularly the "fall on your knees part" send me straight to another, more magical place and I could cry. But most music leaves me strangely unaffected. But I do love "You're only human"!
