  • كباب حلبي, This delicious and moist meat kabab recipe is from Aleppo, Syria with minced meat fused with spices and herbs, olive oil, chili sauce, parsley, barbecued slowly to perfection, served with garlic sauce, salad, grilled onions and tomatoes, all on Arabic pita bread.
    The ingredients for our recipe are:
    / For the kabab dough
    1 kg of minced meat (beef & lamb mix)
    50 gr of fresh parsley, finely chopped
    1 large spoon of: salt, black pepper, garlic powder, chili paste
    50 ml of olive oil
    Into a large bowl, we knead and mix well, then set aside in the fridge for 30 minutes to fuse well. We from our kabab onto the skewers, and keep in the fridge for another 30 minutes, till we are ready to grill or barbecue.
    / For the kabab salad
    100 gr of fresh parsley, finely chopped
    500 gr of red onion, chopped in 1/2 thin rings
    1 large spoon of salt
    2 large spoons of sumac
    30 gr of chili paste
    50 ml of olive oil
    Into a large bowl, we mix well and set aside in the fridge.

    We first, grill our onions and tomatoes skewers, and set a side.
    We then grill the kabab skewers, 2 minutes on each side with medium heat keeping it moist and juicy, then, onto our large pita bread, we spread our salad mix, then place our grilled onions and tomatoes, top with the grilled kabab, serve and enjoy with our garlic sauce.
