His eye and reaction speed is so good. It wasn't all steroids.

Having a much faster bat speed from taking steroids helps with your reaction time seeing the ball a little longer.. steroids plays a huge part in it

it also helped moving from the stick to pacbell
had they still been playing at the stick, many of those balls wouldve been knocked down by the wind

everyone in his era took steroids apart from jeter and pedro so it was baseball. hes the bets hitter ever by far its not even a debate. ohtani is a different kind of goat but bonds was a god and doesnt get the recognition he deserves

The hand eye coordination was amazing.Steroids may make you stronger, but it doesn’t help you recognize pitches, master the strike zone. This dude was awesome.

73 Homeruns in a season is Unreal, steroids don’t give you that silky swing

The stronger you are, the lighter the bat, faster the bat swing. Harder you hit the ball.

He had a Record 177 Walks and .863 Slugging PCT, (.515) on base PCT best since 1900, a HR every 6.52 at bats ratio. He could have easily hit more than 73.
