  • Derek Cozens, founder of 'FlowSignals' entered the Den seeking £50,000 investment in return for a 10% equity stake in his company that has begun bringing LED lights onto stop sign - as Derek truly, believes that stop signs usually go unseen. Why anyone would want to do that is beyond the Dragons...
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

It's basically to have red flashing lights on the posts of traffic lights to warn people who are turning right that there is oncoming traffic. Bad drivers do try to turn right at traffic lights without realising they need to give way to drivers going the other way, but obviously this would not solve the problem. Oddly enough the street below mine is a one way street and I cross it several times a week on my way back from work/shopping.
Every time I do so I see the no entry signs there and think this guy had a point. Putting no entry signs facing directly outwards is of no use whatsoever to someone approaching the junction at a 90 degree angle to them, and you shouldn't have a situation where you only realise a street is no entry when you've started to make a turn. I've seen several cars do that.
Unfortunately for this guy, just angling the signs differently is a much more sensible, practical and cheaper solution.
