Oh man, Peter actually got me laughing. When he was saying
Peter:
"This is 8 inches?"
The 2 Ladies:
"Yes, that is 8 inches. we've actually measured it."
Peter:
"I might have exaggerated back in my time."
It weren't that funny.
Not dogs went onto open their own restaurant in Birmingham, which has since sadly shut down permanently. Social media is inactive and their official website has also been closed down for good. The company has since dissolved after going into liquidation.
No. I read on Kiwi Farms that it has been SUPER successful, is one of the Prince Andrew's favourite foods & is worth £1.1 trillion. You need to fact check.
Two lovely ladies, hope they're successful 👍🏾

@@aaronhurst4379 No Seaweed, no sales, no profit.
Their restaurant in Birmingham went out of business and is permanently closed.
Thank you for the update. It is sad to hear, but also a predictable outcome.

They opened their first OnlyFans and that's been a roaring success!
Dragons didn’t want that 15% (meat free) steak in the business
😂😂
I feel like with what they have, a restaurant was the complete wrong direction for them to go in, but should have stuck and expanded on the food carts, festivals, and pop-ups. It's a shame to hear the business went under.
2:38 "Oh wow! 🌭 It's a big one!!" 😮🎉 Peter Jerkin' Jones: "Is it really 8 inches?!?"
Ladies: "Yup, we measured it!" 😉
I swear dragons den wait for years for businesses to fail so they can post the clip of them trying to get investment, when theyve been and gone 🤣 savagery
Nope, no meat free Mondays. Support your local farmers they need you more than ever 💯🏴🤝
The brand name was certainly strong. They also had good contacts with Quorn. Too bad they did badly given their endorsement by the market leader who somehow managed to make it but not them? Maybe the restaurant idea was not a good one.
Lovely ladies.
Whenever video is over 12 minutes, but less than 13 I KNOW with 120% certainty, there was no deal made 🤣
If you’re 100% certain, that is absolute. What does 120% look like?
You should work in data analytics haha want a job working for my band? 😂😂
If it costs anything like the food in vegetarian restaurants I've seen, it will be £15 for a hotdog with no side or drink. They will go out of business like the rest of them. Too expensive and too niche.
Jenny absoutely furious she missed out on free food
She’s not there
thats what u get for being out 😂
How exactly does a vegetarian hotdog "exclude" meat eaters? That made no sense.
Because the average meat eater will not want to go to a restaurant that is 100% meat free. They may have veggie dishes from time to time, but to not offer any meat dishes at all, that loses them like 88% of their customers immediately, if that makes sense
@@scottwlfcthat only makes sense when your brain is already clogged from animals fats
Because there is no meat, meat eaters love meat, so 88% of people want real meat not fake veggie rubbish Quorn rubbish.
Sure. That’s why ice cream shops always fail. Because they don’t offer steak
Most meat eaters would actively avoid eating imitation meat
Meat free facsimiles of meat products never fail to disappoint. The expectation that it might come anywhere close to tasting like something with a face is yet to be met.
My most dislike for vegetarian food is the fake meats. If they want to get away from meat then why do they keep trying to come up with a replacement for it?
Just make stuff with other ingredients. There’s plenty you can do without a fake meat to try to trick people into liking it. It’s not meat so stop setting people up for disappointment.
Pet peeve of mine
They'd kill it if they did this now. Just a few years too early, perfect market now.
I read today that a vegan lady posted a letter to her neighbours saying they were taking the p*** for cooking meat on a bbq because she could smell it 😂😂😂😂 it's in Birmingham mail today
There was a karen on youtube harassing her neighours a year or so back doing the same thing . . .
That's been all over Facebook

I would question what goes into their dogs.
Yes because real hot dogs are100% legit 👢
HOW MUCH MSG or sodium or SUGAR are in their FAKE dogs?? That would be important to know.
How much is in a real one? Hardly a health food lol

Until your vegan vegetarian food truly tastes like meat it will not be a meat substitute
A dog with no meat is a cat?
I don't think there is much meat in a conventional hot dog 😅
Shiniest women
Modern Dragons Den= sustainable, eco firendly or vegan
During Covid the only shelves remaining full were the veggy ones. Too niche by far.
Even now, the reduced or ‘yellow’ label shelf is mainly filled with vegetarian/ vegan products.
And in 22 23 24 since c o v I d more and more people ditch corpses for plants..
I know alot of people I work with a lot of people and I know 1 vegetarian a d 1 vegan those numbers are rubbish
That's called "anecdotal evidence" - not reliable at all.
Neither is it real market research.
And a majority of my friends ARE veg… I guess we cancel each other out huh?
Busy dolphin 36
People can live on veg only but no one can live on meat only for the entire life. So even meat eaters eat veg not ont vegeteruan or vegan.
Idk why these companies think vegetarians want to eat stuff that tastes like meat? Or why meat eaters want to eat awful tasting meat substitutes?
Vegan here with a lot of vegan and veggie friends. I like the taste of meat, but don't personally agree ethically with eating it. Why does that mean I wouldn't want a product that mimics the taste of meat without the ethical and environmental repercussions? I do agree however that it's not a sustainable business, all of our favourite vegan restaurants have shut down rather quickly after opening.
@@destructoidepic2685there’s a lot of environmental repercussions for everything lol. The idea these overly processed wannabe meats don’t have anything is hilarious. Just eat a salad.
I’m not a vegetarian but I absolutely want to eat stuff that tastes like meat. Meat tastes good, but environmentally is not great…I bet for the vast majority of vegetarians it’s not that they don’t like how meat tastes like
@@elvickRULES I gues I'm a 'meat reducer' which really just means im poor and lazy and mostly have cereal for dinner, but livestock farming defintely has a higher carbon footprint than crop farming

A food truck and a pop up fast veggie sandwich shop come "restaurant" have nothing in common. They made "profit" but no salary !

Vegans/vegetarians/etc tend to have an holier than thou attitude which I can't stand.

yeah they can be a little cringe about it, but meanwhile meat eaters get way too triggered by them haha
