The Trek Remedy 8 is the more playful little brother to the Trek Slash, but still with great descending capabilities and the ability to go over some rough stuff too. This is the easist bike we have tested to pop a wheelie on.
I could only get my hands on a 2020 model, but it is similar to the 2021 model and I go through all of the upgrades in this review.

Good review 👍 currently on a 2017 Specialized Enduro and looking at a Trek Remedy 8 for next bike.
Thank you, Daniel! Haven't tested many "normal" Treks before (just eMTBs), but I was pleasantly surprised of how fun it was.
You won't be disappointed. I love mine, I just would have chosen the XT spec over the SRAM spec one. The XT brakes are far better!
@@Doolinski haha. I've used both and always favoured Sram brakes. Think im just used to Sram now 😂
@@danprice1016 Each to their own brother! I’m swapping out my Guide R’s for the Shimano XT M8120’s.
The GX shifter is great though! I prefer brakes with much more bite
The remedy is my favorite bike👍✌️. I got too the 2020 Remedy 8!

@@NikiMTB 🔥. Einen Tipp habe ich für dich: Fahr mit mudguard! Der Dämpfer wird schnell von Steinen getroffen! Und die Guide Bremsen haben einen sehr weiten jedoch harten Druckpunkt! Aber das Remedy ist einfach geil zum Spaß haben, es ist verspielter als manche dirt's!

You are lucky since you're not in between sizes. M/L seems right for you. I am 185 cm and fit well on a L, but a M/L would be too small.
I recommend to always test yourself, though.

Which size did you choose?
I think it was a size large that I had. I'm 185 cm and it was perfectly fine for me. My brother is 180 cm and it was just fine for him too. Very poppy and fun bike btw!
