Baked Apple Cider Doughnuts - A Fall Treat!

I love apple cider doughnuts and this baked apple cider doughnut recipe did not disappoint! These were delicious and such a Fall treat! I got the apple cider from an orchard on the western side of the state in the mountains and it made some wonderful doughnuts. I'm listing the ingredients below and I hope you'll try this recipe. It's not hard to make and they're so good! Once everything is mixed, just bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Baked Apple Cider Doughnuts
1 1/2 cups apple cider
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Pinch of mace
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
*Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. See video for mixing instructions.
Topping:
6 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Yes, they smelled wonderful! It's funny, I do encourage my piano students in much the same way. I'm always telling them that mistakes are okay. We just fix it on the next note and keep going like it didn't happen, lol. Thanks for watching!
