It's ridiculous to demand an appointee to say how they would vote in advance. No 2 cases are ever the same because of the variables in each case are always going to be different. Lawyers who work for clients make arguments in court that they don't necessarily agree with all the time because they are trying to win a case for their client. That's their job. To come along years later and use that to pin them down on an issue is retarded. These morons in the senate always ask questions they know appointees cannot answer. It makes them look stupid except to uninformed stupid people. And judges take oaths to the constitution, not to people.

She is currently an attorney and activist, not a judge. As a judge, an oath is taken to be neutral and fair when listening to testimony and ruling based on PRECIDENT developed under upper court rulings. All current judges, even SCOTUS, began as attorneys, with their own opinions and beliefs. Hawley, Cruz and company all know this to be true and are purely playing theatrics.

@Christopher Rivera At 2:14 she admits that the Supreme Court correctly decided a case, but would not agree to the Supreme Court's decisions on the other cases where she publicly stated that the Supreme Court decided incorrectly. In other words, her inability to remain impartial on case law is being called in to question as a jurist.
The setup was giving Perez several questions where Hawley knows her past public comments regarding the Supreme Court decisions, then Hawley throws Perez a layup that he knew she would accept as correctly decided. The structure of the questioning was designed to get her to admit that she can't remain impartial to case law. She took a full bite from the poo sandwich and didn't even have a good out for it.

Judges must be impartial and decide cases based on clear eyes and existing case law. The fact that she is second guessing the Supreme Court is embarrassing to her nomination.
