No, these are French knives. Nobody in France cares about the stupid knife laws in the UK. 😂 Ok, all joking aside, it's difficult to find a French knife with a blade length shorter or equal to 7.5 cm. Off the top of my head, I can only think of the Chambriard Compact.

To me these traditional knives are not exotic at all, they represent a rich cultural heritage. Knives like the Cold Steel Espada XL are exotic. ;-)
