No matter how old Carlins material is it's still relevant to todays issues somehow.
It's because we don't change as a species
That’s why we call “Timeless.” Carlin’s standup is absolutely timeless.
Because people never change
Because the same families control everything. And everything going on today has been planned for decades
Well, he is talking about jusnaturalism and juspositivism.
It doesn't have a time.
He died of heart failure in June 2008 at age 71. I believe this performance was earlier than year. Performing the highest level comedy for 50 years
Sad day when he passed. Of course, I remember him joking about 71, "which is 69 with 2 fingers up your ass". We need more people like George!
This was from his last HBO special called “Its Bad For Ya!” and it was on March 1, 2008. His HBO stand-up comedy specials were always live, so you never knew what he would say.
My favorite comedian of all time. I "remember where I was exactly" during crazy bad moments in life. Like 9/11. Remember exactly what I was doing when it happened. When I got the news Carlin died was one of those times. Was at a friends Bday party. Started out being an awesome night and then later I was a mess for the rest of the party after hearing the news. I was lucky enough to see him live twice. RIP George. You were the best.
I saw him a few months before he died amazing show
Carlin wasn't a comedian. He was a social commentator with a sense of humor. He was as real as it gets.
"WAS" is the crucial word.
@@Dusan_ZdravkovicR.I.P. ol' George! 😂 I still remember him with laughter!
We're losing all the good ones and we are still reacting to his specials! He made himself immortal! 😮👍
@@paulvamos7319 All we have to do to honor him - learn from his thoughts. Not so hard, right?
@@Dusan_Zdravkovic You know it! Laugh and learn! Just imagine if George was a teacher at your school! 🤣👍
@@paulvamos7319 So many times i wished he was my father, let alone a teacher!
Most comics tend to lose their edge when they get older, Carlin got even sharper the older he got. His critical thinking skills were always on point, he is absolutly missed by the thinking class. Check out his bit on National pride. It's absolutely brilliant.
I almost wish he was still here cause he would have had a fuckin field day with modernity
I was stationed in Iraq the year he died and it will always be one of my biggest regrets that I never got to meet the man, shake his hand and tell him "thanks, George".
I was in AIT. I came downstairs for PT that morning and someone had written "George Carlin dead at 70 on the whiteboard in the common room.
George is the sharpest comic ever! His mind was a razor. Check out Golf Courses for The Homeless, Airport Security (pre-911) and Euphemisms next
his modern man bit that he performed in his 60s was amazing.
He was 70 here, he died a little over a year later, June 2008, at 71. Heart failure. This was the last Special he ever did.
Yasssssss uncle George is back! But its the hair for me tho🔥🔥🔥
Yes you are beautiful and your reaction to this video is so refreshing to see how honest and aware a young black woman is these days. Because I'm so disappointed in how especially black (/or African) Americans are just blindly and unquestionably still believing in Christianity. Cheers to you
Carlin is the OG of comedy. Not just one of the first major comedians but also such great observations regardless of that
The 1978 hbo special was a great one.
Especially the one about "time".
Carlin the Legend that he is spent the latter of his life telling the stone cold truth. Glad you enjoy him.
I so wish that George was still alive to comment on today's crazy politics and society's ills!!! He was the BEST!!!
George Carlin is a legend! I'm glad you are watching more George Carlin. You should check out more of his standup.
Glad your channel just randomly popped up in my recommendeds. Your smile is absolutely beautiful.
Love George Carlin RIP you genius philosopher.🙏😇🐐❤️🍿📽️🐐❤️
One of my favourite material from Carlin. Even though this was long time ago, never has this been more true than in the past few years
Baby girl rocks love u
You are stunningly gorgeous!!
Do George Carlin's "The American Dream" skit!
Happy Birthday George! #GOAT
George Carlin was the first person to swear on television when talking about "the 7 dirty words" on his HBO special....I think it was in the late 70's... swearing on TV was absolutely taboo. Gotta love him bcuz he really doesn't care, and he speaks the truth about everything.
Carling wasn't the fucking first. Groucho Marx said "hell" in 1959 when he was a guest panelist on What's My Line?. Jefferson Airplane singing “motherfuckerr” on “The Dick Cavett Show” in 1969
@@SonOfMuta well fucking excuse me!
@@SonOfMuta “hell” isnt a fucking swear word lmao...
I haven't watched in a minute. Glad I am back with your channel.
Carlin was the most influential comedian up to this day, specially because he was as much as comedian as a philosopher. His comedy was always edgy and started becoming more confrontational as the years went by. Most comedians regarded him as their biggest source of influence and inspiration. There are also quite a few other really thought provocative comedians you should check out. Bill Hicks (who unfortunately had a really short career since he died to a cancer in 1994 at age 32) is probably the next you should watch. He's also still viewed by many as one of the best ever. Two others you'll most likely enjoy are Dylan Moran, an Irish comedian also really insightful, but in a totally different style and Tim Minchin an Australian comedian who merges music and comedy in such an unique way like no one else can. All of these will give you a lots of laughs at the same time as they give you things to ponder and think about.
Yay I was hoping you'd react to this one!
I've watched a lot of reactions and you are the most real.
You should check out his bit called "Our similarities by George Carlin". But uh, you're amazing and this was another great reaction, hope you're doing well.
You are so beautiful JayShara 😍 💖
Good news. Boss called in today and said i dont have to go in to work, thank god cuz i was drinking all weekend. But i couldn't miss it cuz i got bills to pay. Bossman told me dont worry about it, ill get paid for the day. In fact, he said, ill be signed in then just left like that - ill be making cash 24/7 whether i worked or not. But my bossman is a good person, and i dont want to let him down or screw any co-workers over giving them more work. Bossman says its ok, they have someone new to cover my end.
So i dont have to work, but i get paid - possibly more than a days worth, the company doesnt go under and keeps in business, and i get all the benefits? This is awesome.
And thats how people can enslave others.
Carlin is a god. He was woke before woke was communist. He did this stuff for so long trying to make us better people who just love each other. He did it through comedy, when comedy was a new thing. I wish his essence would show up now and save us.
You da queen JayShara !
Such a beautiful laugh! Genuine!
Yess!! I love that you like george so much
Loving these George Carlin and Bill Burr reaction videos!
This clip is from his 2008 special "Its Bad For Yah".. its his last special just shortly before he died.. Carlin was one of the Greatest ever!
George Carlin “I’m a modern man”… Simply unbelievable..!!
Your laugh is adorable love it
I mostly watch all her reactions for that amazing smile
New sub I've been watching your reactions but just now sub. Your smile did that.
get it girlie!
I love that "shoot the fuck and walk away" is the last thing he ever said in a special.
Legend
Your laugh ❤❤❤❤
HI JAYYYYY! :) GLAD YOU ENJOY THE BEST DOLL R.I.PARADISE TO MY FAVORITE :) , IT WAS A SAD SAD DAY FOR SURE! :(
HE SURELYYY AGED FREAKISHLYYY JAY RIGHT AFTER HIS LAST ( 14TH ) HBO SPECIAL, HE HAD HIS 4TH HEART ATTACK, A MASSIVE STROKE AND THAT WAS IT, HE KNEW HE WAS CHECKING OUT! :( HE CERTAINLYYY MAKES YOU THINK HUH? :) NOBODY CAME CLOSE TO HIM JAY
Am I the only one who thinks her laugh is amazing
that happens with hot women
George was fearless! You can hear people occasionally yelling out in protest at certain points not realizing it's a rhetorical interface. George always ignores them and bulldozes ahead. He already anticipated them and his next utterance is designed to neutralize whatever that screaming idiot was saying. He'd been doing this for so long he already had his role and the audiences participation mapped out. Genius!
Definitely need to react to the American Dream from George Carlin
U have the prettiest smile
Hey I really like your channel new to it I subscribed glad to see that you are a Carlin fan the one video I think you should look at is called List of People it's hysterical from the onset right to the very end and of course as typical Carlin it's all truth
Maybe do the trillion daves next. Another great carlin bit
Happy Birthday George! 😁
"if it can be taken away it's not a right, it's a privilege"
George Carlin on Germs. 😁🤣😯
I love ur reactions and ur positive energy! Next u should react to the bit called "List of people who ought to be killed"
Keep the George Carlin videos comin'! 😎
There should be no people in power. No governments, no countries and no money. We should be 1 planet striving to be better and move forward together. Unfortunately for us there is greed in the world and that's the problem.
He had a super memory!
A beautiful critically thinking woman....so refreshing. George was onto something with organized religion and we have catholicism to thank for that.
Sam Kinison - World Hunger
Love ya Jay!
the world is crazy and it gets crazier the more u learn about how things actually work, but not just when it comes to things like rights
human behavior itself is a total mess of craziness, but also what makes this crazy planet so interesting :)
George Carlin: the professor of comedy.
NO comedian will have you thinking as hard as he will after a show, or a bit.
Yes, George is brill!
You look pretty with that hairdo.
In some European countries their prisoners are able to work and make money to buy things at these shops in the prison area a nice way to make your prisoners still feel like human beings
America has the same thing. Difference is that the inmates work for $0.12-0.40per hour for state prisons and up to $1.20hr for federal prisoners. And the commissary is regular prices so, gotta work a lot for very little. It's modern institutionalized slave labor.
6:33 So good! Hahhaha! XD
I'm a man who was desertenen. My father was completely French and adopted by a Chinese man. My grandmother was spit on in the street during ww11 because he was perceived as being Japanese
Well, people are a social animal. And if you look to nature, every social animal needs leaders to tell them what to do. Humans are no exception. So we don't absolutely have to have leaders, it doesn't effect our day-to-day, but we have to have government to take care of us in certain ways.
🖤🖤🖤🖤
How have I never come across this channel before?! This woman is a modern day Goddess.
A lot of people think George became too preachy and grumpy, as he aged.
I like grumpy George, but even his earlier material was great.
You might want to check out his bits, “Cats and Dogs” or “A Place for My Stuff”.
Carlin to me, is our GREATEST comedian of all time!
George wasn't a comedian. He was a philosopher.
George carlin everything you should react !!!!!!
You should checkout Carlin’s the big club clip, Carlin is always gold
Having unlimited rights and having no rights at all are basically the same thing. It's nature. You can technically do what ever you want, BUT everyone else can too and some people and groups have more power than others.
Please do Saving the Planet by Carlin. I grew up watching him and even got to see him live once shortly before he passed.
This world is sick. Truth girl
They had a hearing in the congress about doing the same thing to black people in the 60s
You should react to Lavell Crawford “Grocery Store” he funny in general but I love that one
World is not sick. You are in this world....Ppl need to vote....ppl need to understand the government is as much yours as anyone. Vote everyone
Soul sister 👊🏿
To me, when I see Carlin now, it is more a lecture on reality and truth more then comedy, although he is still hilarious
That’s what I thought too that people don’t listen to the government, because we know they don’t care, but the whole years of 2020 and a little bit of 2021 has proven that still wish to list to the government on every little thing they say and it’s sad
Also check out We Don’t Need 10 Commandments.
Trust me , growing up on George 'THEY' gave up on trying to 'rope in Carlin'. They finally realized "We'll have to kill him to shut him up". You can see he was a ripe-o-age here. I believe he would have died before he would shut-up, "Give me truth or Kill me MF's".RIP bro.✌
Big picture thinking via his routines, always thought his main viewpoint was "free your mind and your ass will follow"
You should react to Carlin's bit called "Flying", but be sure you react to the long version. Here's the link: czcams.com/video/46fOtLfYC4Q/video.html
They are yours Mom, you keep am eye on em! LOL
Love the Obama background!!
Love your reacts!! You should check out "Rats And Squealers"
An interesting aside regarding the Japanese Internment Camps... although clearly discriminatory based on national origin, it was considered lawful because the overriding "concern" was not that they were Japanese, but because detaining them was done for _the safety of the country_ . So as long as the government can argue that it is for the "safety of the country," they can do whatever the hell they want to you...
A nation needs a government to run the entire ship.......but its time it stops being crooked and being in its own self interests and agendas......if it isn't for the people then it needs to fall
"You swear totellthetruththewholetruthnuthinbuthetruth????!!!
Carl Pinkerton and Ricky Gervaise!!! Please!! Carlin is one of the greats!!
Papa George😂👍
You should react to George Carlin - Modern Man
I Recommend "Memoirs of WW2"
He is absolutely right. I have my last name from a Chinese man. My dad was adopted.
Please React to his FLYING and also his routine on Similarities, BOTH are HILARIOUS... By the way, the Japanese Americans that were put into internment camps (like concentration camps, here in America, after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. SO the US gov't were not trusting any Japanese Americans who's parents, grandparents came from Japan. After the Pearl Harbor bombing that was when the U.S. entered World War II, and when the government decided to round up all the Japanese Americans where they could keep their eye on them. Horrible and crazy, and should NEVER have been done. A lot of those poor people had their own businesses that they lost because of this, not to mention the homes they lived in. It really gave the U.S. a black eye. Just recently there was a documentary about it on TV, it was EXTREMELY interesting and sad.
Please check out his bit called CHILD WORSHIP it is awesome
