- Ronan Farrow is an investigative journalist who among others brought the Harvey Weinstein abuse scandal to light.
- Sophie's choice is a book and movie about a mother who has to decide which of her two children she has to give up to the Nazis. That's kinda a bad premise for a sequel.

Oi, luv! Loved your reaction. Ricky is very skillfully biting. He combines great satire and social commentary. Actually, he's incredibly talented. He wrote and stared in the original OFFICE, in which he was the biggest tosser on the planet. In fact, it was simply too painful to watch because he made you cringe. I also liked he other show EXTRAS. I never watched the American version of the OFFICE, because there would be no way it could compare. ...Also, his comedy specials/stand up are brilliant. Love watching him bang on about religion.
The USA office was somewhat funny, especially the first three seasons, then it becomes hard to watch.
The American Office is the same as the UK one for the first season but it's it's absolutely it's own thing as you go further and it finds its own stride
I would recommend setting aside expectations and watching it. It's not a "either or" thing, it's more like enjoying both Workaholics and It's Always Sunny. It's fine.

Ricky gervais is an indication just how straight and too the point of british humour is. The fact he genuinely doesn't care who he upsets makes it uncomfortable for two-faced celebrities,and whoever he goes after. I'd love to see Frankie Boyle or Jimmy Carr do the golden globes.

Hi JayShara. Daniel Tosh is a great comedian who I think you would get a lot of laughs watching and maybe be slightly shocked by some of his more sick humour. He is not politically or religiously correct and he is willing to make jokes out of tragedies and yet is witty enough to make them funny. A good routine of his to start is "How do 90 percent of Americans have jobs?" Its one of his tamer routines but still really funny. Make sure it is live as his facial expressions add to the humour. Another hilarious routine is "Completely Serious part 1" The joke about his home schooling had me and several reactors ROTF Hope you enjoy his twisted humour. I haven't heard of You Tube punishing people for reacting to his more raunchy videos. lol

Felicity Huffman went to prison for trying to bribe an admission board to guarantee her daughter's admission to the college of her choice. The Sophie's Choice sequel reference was because in the original movie Sophie was told by nazi's she had to choose which of her children would be chosen to be sent to the gas chamber and which one would live. If she refused to choose, the nazi's would send both children to the gas chamber. Ricky Gervais is the reason the Golden Globes have had their best ratings the last few years. The Hollywood Foreign Press has him back because ratings are all that matter.

Golden Globes are supposed to be very elegant/no-nonsense. But he turned it into a roast & they were so unprepared, that's why it was funny. Most of them were pretending not to care & go with it, but probably like 75% of them were so pissed inside.
