- A few months ago, before GoPro launched the Hero 6 camera, we got a chance to have a look at it with Abe Kislevitz, the Creative Director for the company. This was our day flying around with a prototype of the Hero 6 and the Fusion cameras.

You all did an absolutely amazing job. I am not a huge environmentalist but seeing that cavern and knowing it may not exist was saddeninig. Mother nature is amazing! A buddy of mine and I are traveling into Vancouver in May and want to try and see these beautiful places. We only have one GoPro so it won't be as epic as this but we shall see. Thank you all for your hard work and for sharing this!

I don't understand why this doesn't have a million views. This is one of the best videos I have seen of that area and also the most real. I am in fu$%in awe right now watching this as I will be traveling to Vancouver in May. (hint, also emailed you Mr. Friesen). :) The editinig is great, the videos are clean and crisp, and that cavern is amazing! This is what dreams are made of!

You should sacrifice an old GoPro and do a time lapse of the glacial cave decay ! Maybe they can make you a GoPro that has remote connectivity to retrieve the data and solar powered, too.

A couple of comments:
1. How come you didn't shoot in 4K? I love watching you vids full screen on a 5K iMac.
2. Now that you're getting Hero 6s, will you be shooting in 4K/60fps?
I exported in 1080 because the camera I was using was shooting 1080 120FPS - so I didn't want to try and upscale to 4k.
Noted for next time though - I will export in 4k!
Great video image quality on this one. I know you fly in the same areas because that is your home and it is a beautiful place, but I think you should consider a tour to other cities, other places, and do some epic new stuff. It gets tiring seeing the same places over and over again. I'm starting to recognize individual trees and rocks!

Couldn't have said it better myself.
The same guy edited this, from the same source, with the same method, and with the same mindset, as usual? If one option isn't yes, i would rather wait to the next well known edit before i judge the "quality of the cameras".
I edited this video - usually Treven does, but he didn't come out that day.
The source (?) was several GoPro's (Hero 5 and 6), My camera, and my drone.
The method was similar? We both use Premier Pro to edit, obviously my style is a bit different.
The mindset was I am sure the same - we (Treven/Chris/I) all edit these videos to make them enjoyable and nothing else.
There was no kickback from GoPro for this video - Brad and I had to buy our Hero 6's just like everyone else, nothing fancy going on here.
The "new GoPro launch" "Better quality" and the new edit triggered me a bit... Sorry about that!

You'll need a BEAST of a pc to even edit footage from that 360 cam. Badass though.

Yeah, Abe had a Hero 6 and a Hero 5 side by side so that he could do a comparison video. The 6 has the ND filter on the front, which is why the lens looks a bit different.
