This game was actually pretty good haha. Obviously a bit shallow but the mini games were honestly really well put together and quite fun, esp compared to Spyro’s.

Aside from a couple enemy designs, sound effects, sheep and very very minor details, this still feels way more like Crash's world than it does Spyro's lol.

This could've been an swell platformer, but it's such a shame that it's nothing more than Game & Watch Gallery: Crash Bandicoot Edition.
Agreed. The only form of platforming I did enjoy was the Freefallin' and Crate Smash bonuses.
you had two great platforming crash games, so this one was kinda fun and new to do, also crash nitro karts was pretty decent as well.
Interestingly enough, Vicarious Visions would later develop Crash N-Sane Trilogy.
They've actually developed more Crash Bandicoot games than any other developer: The Huge Adventure, N-Tranced, Crash Nitro Kart, this game (and its Spyro counterpart), and the N. Sane Trilogy.
They are a good company but they also just need paychecks. Also, they pretty muched sucked at making gba games if you look at most of them.
Spongebob Revenge of the Flying Dutchman was pretty solid, though.

This looks pretty good, i mean it looks and controls just like the huge adventure and n tranced, surely this musy be a good platformer like those. Wait.. what do you mean minigames? oh god......"
SoDoge wow I truly feel your pain my good sir, many moons ago when this abomination of creation first was projectile shat onto store shelves, I saw this with the other gba games and the cover art caught my eye. I too was fooled by the idea of how epic this crossover could possibly be, and all of my hopes and dreams were shattered within 2 minutes into the gameplay. I still have PTSD from this horrible distressing experience.

And we wouldn't have another Crash and Spyro crossover till Skylanders Imaginators and then CTR Nitro fueled

Ripto is almost always the antagonist in Spyro games. It’s funny how Ripto basically overshadowed Gnasty Gnorc as the primary antagonist in the Spyro series despite his gruesome death in comparison to Gnasty
Out of both crossover games Crash purple is the only one that is more accepted than spyro orange, mainly because the game is like all the other crash games on GBA.

Yes there is. At the mode menu, press L and R at the same time. You will get a password thing. In the paswword, type in "SW1NGS3T" and you should get it.

Where on earth was N.Gin in this game? He's Cortex's right hand man so why isn't he with Cortex in the cutscenes or as a boss? Why is he just some measly cameo on a trading card? Seriously after Crash 1 N.Gin has been by Cortex's side since(until Mind Over Mutant). Where there's Cortex N.Gin isn't gonna be far behind. That would be like having Ripto without Crush and Gulp and they're bosses in Spyro's side of the story. So why not N.Gin in this game? Seriously where the hell is he!? What? Did Cortex let him take a holiday or something?

well, sure, mind over mutant existed. i kind of stopped paying attention after twin sanity and tag team racing. although, it was still for playstation, but just got a port for everything else. at least i didn't realise there were gameboy only versions. well, whatever.

Vicarious Visions did a good job on the 2D Crash Bandicoot games, but they were really not all that great with the 3D Crash games.
