As a Canadian citizen there is nothing more upsetting to see people claiming asilo when is not needed , and lying is not cool specially when you looking to establish in a new country , people who asked for asilo are welcome as long as legitimate , but if you go to visit the country that you are running away is not all that dangerous therefore deportation is call, the government is cracking down in bad actors ,
The abuse was getting out of hand.
Canada has always been and will continue receiving, approving and rejecting asylum claims. It didn't start just today or this year perhaps you are just getting to know about it BC the system has been stressed due to the overwhelming numbers they never received before but they are going to adjust to it from reviewing policies to arranging the necessary welfare and funding to enable the country meet up with the challenge. Canada is not even among the top 10 countries that receive the highest number of asylum seekers so you all should chill and besides Africans don't even make up 10% of the total number of asylum seekers compared to your neighbours Mexico. As for the fact that they are lying that's not for you to decide but IRCC so madam citizen/Mr citizen calm down your nerves and let the government continue it's responsibility of receiving asylum seekers BC that's what the IRCC was created to do.

Canada is getting as savvy as European countries in understanding the tricks of asylum seekers including, verifying using their embassies in the countries of claimants. It is going to be particularly hard for those seeking asylum currently to get a good outcome as we are voting next year 2025 and many citizens are frustrated with how quickly the country has gone downhill and you would see votes swing to the conservatives as a result. The conservatives are much stricter with their immigration policies and they would expedite the deportation when they come in.
Don't know why u all keep ranting on asylum to africans where as Africans are not even upto 2% of the the total population seeking asylum in Canada. This subject should be made in a language that mexicans will understand bc they are the major asylum seekers in Canada, haiti , Colombia and India. All this countries whose citizens are seeking asylum in thousands in Canada i don't see their content creators ranting all over social media. Last year about 17k asylees came from Mexico alone and they are the ones putting a strain on the Canadian asylum system viewing the proximity of Canada to their country and not Africans. U all this PRs in Canada who have turned into social media content creators overnight should let African asylum seekers breathe.
With that said, now to my asylum people too please do your research and know how to prepare before making the move, find someone who has gone through the process for first hand info. After everything if you think and feel you can do it please and please do not hesitate, go in for it after all seeking asylum is a fundamental human right. It is not illegal and no one should make you feel you are doing the wrong thing. They keep pointing to the few incidents but never highlights the thousands who have gone through successfully and still going through. Canada will never get tired of receiving asylum seekers because it is not today they started doing so. Even if they say they are going to put a cap on study or work visa whatever, you will never hear of putting a cap on number of asylum seekers they will receive bc it's a legal right to receive you, hear your story and decide whether you are good to stay or not. So with that said, you all should let our fellow compatriots breathe. I speak and understand Hindi very well and when I visit Indian pages, what their content creators put out there on asylum for them is totally different or far from what you guys are doing whereas Africans from all the countries are not even upto 30% of the total number of India asylum seekers alone. U all this PRs/utubers should rest abeg.

I think most people know the risks that they are taking before they make these choices. There are many who lie and make up stories to remain in the country. Every choice has a consequence.

That didn't start today and will never stop. Same with those who illegally go through the Mediterranean sea to either get to Spain, Italy, France and all the rest. Now which person is better the one who gets a valid visa to Canada to try and seek asylum whether the story is lie or true is all on how they present and defend it or the ones that go through the sea illegally break borders and enter these countries and stay until regularised. These kind of immigrations will never stop and that is why countries will always adjust to any new trend. People will always seek asylum, some will be accepted others rejected and deported. It has always been like that and will continue the only thing the government will do is to adjust and prepare to receive huge numbers as they already started doing 😂. Canadians are just surprised BC they just got to receive an overwhelming numbers they never received before which is not even upto 20% of what the US, Germany and other top countries receive every year. So the government will just check if most are coming from tourist visa or student visa they will only have to tighten the issuing of such visas but will never say oh no please if your story is not true please don't come and seek asylum BC it is a human right and people will always want to exploit it so you all should calm down.

The Kenyan asylum seeker woman who died in Toronto of cold was incredibly upsetting. She has four children back home. The asylum process is incredibly complex. Be very careful because there are a lot of scrupulous people out there. Shine your eye well, well.

Of cos asylum seekers are desperadoes & often don't care about alternatives. But no one (immigration agents especially) ever mention that ppl actually get deported from Canada & since 2022, the numbers have increased.
Presently, immigration is slowing down. It is overheated & the trend is also happening in NZ, Australia UK...the choice countries.
With the amount of information out there, there is no reason why anyone should be deceived these days

Some of you bloggers your videos discourage others to come to Canada. If I listened to some of you like I will not be in Canada. Just one deportation video, a thousands of bloggers are using it to discourage people. I will rather sleep in tent in Canada than to stay in the corrupt and jobless country in Africa.

Its not strange… asylum cases take long and you might find they appealed before and a final decision has now been made.
