- Born in 1967, Kurt Cobain started the grunge band Nirvana in 1988 and made the leap to a major label in 1991, signing with Geffen Records. Cobain also began using heroin around this time. After releasing the highly successful album Nevermind, Nirvana's highly acclaimed album In Utero was released in 1993 and catapulted to the top of the music charts. On April 5, 1994, in the guest house behind his Seattle home, Cobain committed suicide.

She didn't directly kill him and I think people know that. They picked up on resentment from the band toward her after death. Maybe in some way band members felt it wouldn't have happened if he never married her

Being bloody talented and finding yourself in this unrealistic, unbearable almost unsurvivable stardom can be such a burden.....so to deal with it you take drugs....become depressed and lose yourself.....such a loss...so many of them....usually the best ones who have souls...the can not survive this .
