Is the mask mandate at the Kennedy Center over? I'm holding them accountable

- I reported exclusively that the Kennedy Center theater in Washington, D.C., announced it would finally drop its mask mandate two days after my report on the unscientific basis of it not preventing the spread of COVID. I hold them accountable on the day the mandate dropped by going to the theater to see for myself if they did all the specific changes they promised.
The theater's spokesman told me on Oct. 5 the change would not go into effect for two weeks. So I went to the theater on Oct. 18 - as you see in the video- to check on the specific policy changes the spokesman told me would be visible to patrons.
The shows at the theater on the 18th started at 7 p.m., so I went to the Kennedy Center at 6 p.m. to look to see if the mask signs had been removed. I also watched to see if the ticket check staff were enforcing the mask mandate before entering the theater.

Background:
As you saw in the video I made while seeing "Hamilton" on Sept. 17 -here: • How to get “Hamilton” ... , the Kennedy Center's mask policy required patrons to wear the mask while sitting in silence in the theater. It did not require masks while talking in lines for security, in the concourse or in any other public area of the building.

Ted -- Thank you so much for noticing what I did for editing this one! I'm learning by just trying the different features in the iMovie editing app. I like music backgrounds and it was rarely allowed in TV news because it's more for entertainment, but I think it can give more energy to a news story. In iMovie there is a feature for music. There are only 5 options so I used "news" for most of it and then "travel" for the end. I kept the volume down low so it would be subtle, so thank you for noticing it!

Masks are not dumb for those of us who are immunocompromised. They help keep us alive. But yes, businesses be consistent
@@joycewilcher8007 I have a permanent heart problem caused from a bad reaction to my medicine and I still don't care about masks. Technically I am way more likely to die from Covid. Still care a lot more about freedom and also don't even think masks do anything.
