Joe Biden calls AR15 a "Weapon of War" - This M4 rifle is actually one

- Pres. Joe Biden calls AR-15 style guns "weapons of war" to push for an "assault weapon" ban. I made this video to show you that the civilian AR-15 and the military M4 rifle are cosmetically almost exactly the same, but they are functionally different.
In this video, I show you the M4 rifle, which is an actual weapon of war because it is the standard gun used by our military. Look at the switch which makes the M4 shoot fully automatic. The AR is semi-automatic, meaning one trigger pull, one round.
Biden often says (and I show some examples in the video) that "weapons of war" are on our streets and a leading cause of crime. He is pushing gun control despite voters saying it is not a high priority for them in the midterm elections. Also, the Supreme Court's ruling in the Bruen decision said that the Second Amendment does not allow for much infringement by the government.

Finally, only the Second Amendment is the one that says "shall NOT be infringed !"
Great video Emily! (as usual) As you rightly point out, an AR-15 and M4, while cosmetically the same, are functionally different. AR-15s have NEVER been used in war, and are NEVER seen on the battle field. The AR-15 was designed specifically as a consumer sporting rifle and would require internal modification to make it function like an M4.
Also, as Michael K pointed out, great work with proper safety. I was impressed how you immediately indexed your finger every time you picked up the rifle. Kudos!
Thanks, Chad! You understand the difference but much of the public does not and think that all black rifles are used on the battlefield. I hope this video can educate people wo don't know the difference (as we do) so Pres. Biden can't keep manipulating them with scare tactics.
On the gun safety, I felt uncomfortable asking an airman to check to see if the gun was loaded myself-- like I was doubting their training -- so I was particularly careful with my trigger finger and keeping the gun in a safe direction. That's why I included the part at the end about where I was aiming the rifle because I'm sure people will see the children around me and wonder where I was pointing the gun!
And their is nothing wrong with owning an M4 or any weapon that the military has. We have a right to defend ourselves from an oppressive government.

Oppressive governments don't like when people in their country have the means to DEFEND themselves
against their Oppressors. A great example is how Natural Health people found a way to DEFEND themselves
against Covid - and the Oppressors in government attacked anyone who said they had found a way to keep
themselves SAFE and HEALTHY using Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, vitamins, supplements etc. Yet the
same government people in the US Congress, over 200 of them were and are taking Ivermectin !
Incidentally more people in the US were seriously injured or killed by the Clot Shot than by guns in 2021 and 2022.

I am an honorary plaintiff against MA which I graciously accepted after contacting so many gun organizations and US Senators and getting no where. You yourself have been inspirational to many Women here in RI. The Ladies are the fastest 2A demographic up here. Keep up the great work.

Many law abiding Americans are trying to figure out why Joe Biden is pushing so hard for MORE gun control, after his own son Hunter
1) was KICKED OUT of the US military for "street drug" usage and addiction.
2) broke multiple Federal & State gun laws and LIED on the Federal BATFE form saying that he wasn't doing "street drugs" in 2018.
When Hunter was buying a semi-automatic pistol in 2018, Hunter answered "no" to the question that asked:

You can't ban 'weapons of war'. For one thing, that term doesn't mean anything, because ANYTHING a person might use in battle is now, by definition, a weapon of war.
But the real reason is because of the whole purpose of the 2nd amendment. That is for the people, to be prepared and capable, of defending against any oppressive or tyrannic government! And to be able to do that, you need to have comparable weapons of that government!
Yes, exactly the purpose of the second amendment is prevented to radical government. But fully auto is highly regulated and NOT a cause of crime as Biden tells everyone !
The AR-15 was a weapon of war before any M-16. The United States military used the AR-15 in combat during the Vietnam war. 61-62.
You were actually holding an M4A1. The difference between that one and an M4 is that the M4 has kind of a carrying 'handle' on the top that incorporates the 'iron sights' (just the rear sight, actually) and fires in semiauto and a 3 round burst. The M4A1 can fire either a single shot (semiauto) or fully automatically. They were also recently upgraded with an ambidextrous fire selector switch, making it easier to transition from shooting left- and right-handed.
But 'Uncle Joe" wouldn't be able to tell the difference between sun M4 (in any variation), an AR 15, and airsoft.

Hey EMily. I love your videos. Question for you, there are a LOT of commenters on Penguin 6 channel that constantly talk about Biden being played by a number of actors and that he doesn’t live at the whitehouse. He flies in from Delaware everyday. This sounds like a story you could do. How would Biden, arguably the most watched and followed person in the world, pull something like this off?
The M4 does not fire fully automatic!
Technically burst fire is a form of fully automatic.
AR15s are awesome firearms no doubt about that and I bet you all firearm enthusiasts are nice and peaceful people they just want to enjoy their time or defend their homes that is understood. Gun control laws may fix the mass shootings problem and it might not as well. No body knows for real. Each side sees the world from his or her own perspective and both arguemnts make sense to some exten. HOWEVER what pisses me off is using this FULL vs SEMI in the AR15 paltform to argue that it is not a weapon of war. YES AR15 is not used by the army because it is semi while they use the full auto M16l. FINE but who cares what to call it weapon of war or not ? AR15 with one bullet per trigger pull is a devastating firearm. You can kill 30 people in less than a minute so both sides have to stop lying and cheating. M16s in the military are used in semi auto mode most of the time just like an AR15. If they want to go full auto they can use a machine gun or a tank. If it is up to me ? I am a proponant of the freedom to owning a firearm and I am against applying extreme strict rules however there must be some sort of regulations.
Why restrict access to ar15s when I can get a glock with a 17, 33, 50, 100, 150, or 200 round magazine and do the exact same thing. The weapons of war argument really intrigues me these people want to ban ar15s but not 1911s glocks m1 garands or any other military gun. The fact of the matter is all guns are equally deadly they are just designed to be applied in different ways. My shotgun is a lot more deadly than an ar15 if my target is within 100 yards. My ar15 is more deadly than my shotgun if the target is 100 to 300 yards away. My 30-06 is more deadly than my ar15 at really any range. To squirrels my 22 long rifle is the most deadly gun. The AR-15 platform was designed by Eugene Stoner while he was working at the ArmaLite company. His prototype the AR-10 chambered in 308 was turned down by the army. Later on he created the AR-15 chambered in the 223 cartridge he invented. The Army turned down this rifle too. While originally being designed for military use the ar15 was first available on the American market for civilians. I think it's a civilian rifle being used by the military not a military rifle being used by civilians. We got the rifle first.

I would go to war with my AR15. I was in the Army for 25 years, Infantry, Ranger and SF….. (this does not make me an expert), but I never fired my weapon on full auto or burst in these schools, or my 6 tours in combat. Find me the military doctrine, where you would use full auto. It does state: Well-Aimed controlled fire…. I can do that with both M4 and AR15. Your argument should be towards the person that should carry one Or the purchase of this weapon. I’m all for a 10-20 day wait. (Calm down, you’ll get your gun), Finger print cards, blood test, mental evaluation. Training! People buy on impulse, and do impulsive things. This time frame will help them cool down a bit. Please feel free to delete this if you want. But I looked around on many CZcams videos, and these AR shooters are destroying targets, reloading at incredible speed, that’s all you need in combat. Not a fully auto rifle that wastes rounds and don’t hit targets. So is the AR15 a weapon of war? I still don’t know.
