Thanks, I enjoyed your video.That ratchet has 41 teeth, but it has twin pawls that are offset by 1/2 tooth which effectively doubles the tooth count to 82 teeth. You got lucky with taking that collar ring off, trust me, because I’ve seen quite a few of them that don’t budge at all and the indentations in the collar can really get mangled. JH Williams has always made outstanding tools, I use lots of them on a regular basis in auto repair and many of them are much more than 50 years old but you’d never know it because they’re so well made.

I wonder if a wrench for a shotgun mag tube would work instead of the hammer and punch. Looks close to the right size
