  • Please read description - Giving a super of honey to a hive over winter can help a colony survive, but now the Queen is laying in the honey super! This 2 part video shows how to sort multiple problems with a weaker colony to help them along the way and solve the issues. As well as what to do with treated supers in the honey season.
The super frames as shown have broken wire and in a little state from were we dug out the wax moth, before giving them to the hive for winter food.
The supers were treated with varroa after being given to the hive in need, so not to be used for human consumption. But can be used as winter food for the hive in the future if needed.
    All videos filmed in 4K

What was the hive type you referenced besides langstroth?

I believe I said national hives “without looking back at the video” those are the British main hive, smaller both hive and frame size. 🐝
