AWESOME FIND! I just love when pauper uncovers thse absolute not-playable-in-draft cards and makes them look powerful
@@atmaximum thanks!
I love the excitement. I feel this way every time I play pauper.
@@jeremyleger712 when you find the deck that speaks to you it's so much fun!
I've personally been loving your regular uploads! I have been liking playing highway robbery in my list - worth looking into imo
@@Holden_P yeah robbery has also been very nice
Double video day!!! This deck is so sweet, excited to see more gameplay!
@@HarborMastr the deck that I can't stop daydreaming about hahaha
I think i found a cool pauper combo with a new card. I think ivylane denizen, evolution witness, and wild cantor is infinite damage with evo witness. If you have all 3 on board. You can sac wild cantor and make a infinite big evo witness with triggers of ivylane denizen. I think it works, im not a judge though. Just a thought i had. This deck is awesome too.
@@odoylerules1435 that is cool too!
The joy you get playing this deck is... priceless.
Keep it up, bruv.
haha thanks!
At 38:41, if you cast rite and then Prophet, you can reunion for 6 attackers with power into 5 blockers and win.
sadly they don't have trample :'(
@@kalikaiz Fair enough but 6 attackers with at least 1 power into 5 blockers is enough when opponent is at 1, isn't it?
They have 6 blockers no?
This is a great iteration. Keep at it. I hadn't thought of the familiar.
@@magonista66 thanks!
Lets goooo ive revatched two rubystorm older videos today :D so this is sweet. im gonna make this deck in paper for our next local tournament :P
@@K0L1 one more for tomorrow haha! Then I need to probably break on it
Now this is entertainment! Pleas keep up the fun jank, it tickles my fancy
Thanks for coming!
Dude this seemed like such a good deck!!
Thanks!
Deck looks sweet! Might brew something like this in the future.
@@Wiggly-T nice gl!
OMG nice find! Dangerous Wager might be good in rakdos madness too😱
@@Gio-ff2md oh yeah for sure
Loved this iteration! All the other flex slot draw/filter spells didnt quite feel right, but Dangerous Wager is just perfect. Instant speed makes for some sick interactions, not needing cards in hand to cast is huge upside. Love it
@@gijoe3211 thanks!
Sweet! Wager looked sick! I've decided to put gut shot in the board after seeing watching, can't always board it in though.
@@CosmicCharles466 I think I'm on blessing now. Weird doing these ahead of time haha
@@kalikaiz me too, I'm running 4 in the board with the 4th fam. The issue is that fams toughness is 1 so the shaman could always sac anothercartifact in response to blessing, I think that blessings still the plan against affinity though because you also need blasts
this deck is so sick; I've loved seeing it evolve. have you thought about adding a copy of fling? it may be useful with prophet against removal or just to finish the game up outright
@@baedenne605 I just feel like it is only good when you've already won so much that a wet towel will win
@@kalikaiz yeah, that's totally fair
I love to see this. It's the closest thing to a real combo deck since Galvanic Relay.
@@matthewmagda4971 it's so sick
Fantastic video! At 37:41 you scry-down Apostle's Blessing, but if I'm not wrong, that was gg for you: give protection to colorless and swing for lethal. Opponents' creatures had devoid.
I think it wouldn't work because devoid is colorless and you can't choose colorless with apostle because it says choose a color or artifact, and neither does the job
@@gustavofigueiredo3963 ah, I see! Thanks!
you're correct thanks!
I think blessing was printed before colorless stuff existed maybe :/
This deck is getting crazier. 😅
@@oblobear2093 let's goooo
game 2 when you used Apostle's Blessing to scry, you should just do that in your upkeep. you still get to scry your draw for turn but that way you have protection for the turn rather than just burning it in their end step. The more you know!
@@danielschmidt7143 well today I learned. Nice one!
Have you ever thought about testing Fling to see how it performs? Sometimes it's more worthwhile than relying on combat (where you can take a Fog, for example).
@@BrunoAngos people suggest this a lot but I general have shied away. I think snipe is a better wincon in that slot because it can win randomly and not need a full chain. When you full chain the world is your oyster
I do miss the goblin matriarch as a way to either search the pinger or a cost reducer but I understand it being hard to find room
it ended up being so mid and a lot of mana
@@kalikaiz fair, I was also still under the impression that name sticker was still around for some reason. Actually don’t see why it needed banning lol
@@devangoad stickers were banned as a whole. Wasn't the good guys fault hah
You wouldn't believe it but I was gonna recommend Wager the other day!! I didn't think it would be good because I saw you cast Electric Rev several times before the "go off" turn. But it makes sense cause of how much impulse draw you have
Awesome! It seems great tbh
Cool iterations on this deck. Would you consider playing Pirate's Pillage? Card draw + mana and it's likely cost reduced down to just 2 or 3 mana
Love your videos man! Keep it up!
@@wrybreadd yeah very neat card. Been testing it a little. The problem is just cards in hand
Impulse or resolve, which is a better name to call both of them as effects? Personally I prefer resolve but only because they stick around for next turn so it’s not exactly descriptive of the effect in general
Reckless Impulse -> Rimpulse lol
how about gut shot in the sb for krark clan shaman specifically?
@@Kirbykopf432 I definitely considered that. I think apostles blessing is the best card in that slot. You'll see it tomorrow :)
M3G3 at around 38:40 you could've cast a burning prophet, played mountain, cast rite of flame, cracked bitter reunion, and attack for lethal?
Or am I missing something?
@@ChromeSignage sadly we didn't have trample
Storm is just fun to play. And it's really not so bad to play against as long as it's not too consistent.
absurdly fun
Did you like the "storm" lands better ? In paper they seem better, curious about your oppinion. Also i was thinking B splash instead of G because Black familiar don't die to Snuff, niche but have regen and i think Deadly dispute + Duress seems better vs attriction, ( also a lot of cheap removal for g2/3, pauper always was a heavy interaction format ) maybe is worth the test ? Love the videos man keep the great work !.
@@h8reset194 well I thought about going RB but then you're really jund which I think makes it worse overall. What do you mean the storm lands
@@kalikaiz the old Storm Pauper use the sac lands from invasion xD. And i mean cut the Green for the Black, for the cost reduction maybe go with 4 Nightscape Familiar and 3 of any other reducer since you have 4 Petal + manamorph + the sac lands colors and Black can give you treasure tokens also, it's a ideia xD
The wager works so well with this deck!
@@DrSiddha not that dangerous here haha
M3 G1 they didnt have enough artifact to sac or am I messing something?
Dang I should have made them play it out whoops
In round 3 apostles, blessing pro colorless would’ve won the game, right? 37:42
@@kingbandit7459 if only, but that's not an option
Oh is it just artifact? Sorry haven’t read the card in a while
7:08 why you can only scry once in paper?
I think you do scry twice, but in paper if you decide to keep the first scry on top then you don't have to scry again (since you'd presumably still keep the same card on top).
@@user-ze6su9ti6u yeah you just shortcut it. "all on top"
Wager is so incredible in this list
for real!
Love it
Thanks!
This deck tickles me the same way poison storm does. I just want to keep drawing cards and killing my opponent as a treat.
@@ValerieEnriquez haha let's goo
I really want to buy this deck in paper, do you think the play pattern in real life would be easier or harder? Love the vids keep up the great work :)
Just got to the part of the video where you talk about playing the deck IRL ... oops
@@romandongarra617 haha no worries!
I really want to call this deck "GRuby Storm".
@@noneofyourbusiness3288 haha nice! Start a trend
Hahaha this is a deckbuilding fest, loving it.
@@goyohiga I can't stop!
I think your guttersnipe count is too low and your feldon's cane count is too high.
The worst part of the deck is drawing guttersnipes
@@SkillsByNiels When trying to play 20 to 40 cards, yes, but you only have to do that because you don't have a guttersnipe in play.
The balance of mana and payoffs has been very difficult!
@@kalikaiz Don't give up! I've just been watching you work the brew and I've been noticing this pattern.
@@NatePrawdzik do you have suggestions on the ratios?
