No, since the Rest in Peace is sacrificed, then the spell goes to the graveyard on resolution. The second one correctly went to GY

I think island is fine, copy token is useless and you want to exile rip so you won’t copy it.
And copy Triome didn’t help because Virtue only works with basics and Sean didn’t have mana issue. You cannot target a permanent several times with Doppelgang.
